So I've seen several posts that talk about this but I love the idea of Simon and plants

Crying when Grace first shows him a plant because oh my god they're here and they're alive and Simon can see them and smell them and wow they're so green

Asking Grace if he can touch them because he's genuinely scared that a single touch might break it

Grace giving him plant after plant because Simon keeps (accidentally!) killing them. He has no idea what to do with it to help it grow, but he's trying his best!!

After the first few he gets pretty good at it and legit treats his plants like his children. Grace once plucked a leaf off of one... Yeah Simon was NOT happy about it
