Adam Parrish: had no form of parental/guardian love growing up

Adam Parrish: was physically abused by his father and neglected by his mother

Adam Parrish: had to make the decision to press charges against aforementioned father

Adam Parrish: studied his ass off to get a partial scholarship to a private school and now has to maintain it in hopes of building a better future for himself

Adam Parrish: has severe self esteem issues: can't fathom how anyone could ever want him as he is, refers to himself as an "ugly boy", when Blue tells him his hair is the color of dirt he simply says "it knows where it came from", is ashamed of his background to the point of trying to hide his own accent

Adam Parrish: looks out for himself because that is literally the only way he has learned how to survive in the world

Adam Parrish: is learning how to love other people and show others the love he was never given

Adam Parrish: works three jobs on top of going to school so he can afford said school and rent for a room at a church where he lives alone

Adam Parrish: most likely suffers from some sort of trauma

Adam Parrish: struggles to accept help from friends because he fears it will make him less of his own person. probably also a side effect of having no one but himself to rely on for the huge majority of his life.
