ok so now that im home and have my computer unpacked here’s more details:
i was walking to baggage claim and at the bottom of the escalator there was one of those valet guys holding a sign that said “SPEIGHT” on it and i did a fucking double take
lo and behold richard speight came down the escalator like a minute later and i freaked the fuck out (quietly and internally) and surreptitiously took this picture as proof that i saw him:

turns out he’s at the same baggage claim as me (flight from San Diego, does he live there wtf?) and I was sort of on the other side of the bags subtly staring at him but he caught sight of my YANA shirt and winked at me ‘nice shirt’
I got my bags first and waited off to the side because my ride wasn’t there yet and I also really want to ask him for a selfie but here’s the thing: I literally lose all ability to speak when I’m around SPN cast because of anxiety and theyre just really emotionally overwhelming for me so he gets his bags and is starting to walk out while I’m trying to work myself up to asking him for a pic
he’s such a sweetheart because he walks past me and he knows i wanna ask for a pic but i cant and he’s like ‘yes you may’ and i get this pic:
