If I was writing for the MCU, specifically for Doomsday and if there’s an emotional scene when the world is “ending” basically…..I would have my own personal Palmerstrange moment 😆😆

Like, imagine that Stephen calls Christine, she either meets up with him or he leaves her a voicemail, he pretty such tells her that since it looks like the world is ending…he wants to tell her a lot of things….like how he’s sorry about the past….how he used to treat her….how much he regrets losing her….especially as a close friend…..how he should have fixed himself sooner….how things never should have ended how they ended…..they he starts saying….

How much he still thinks about her….and he knows it’s selfish to imagine because she’s married now and she doesn’t love him anymore….how he told an alternate universe version of her that he loves her….because he couldn’t tell her to her face…..how he’s going to love her forever…in every universe…..and how he should move on….find someone else to love him….but he’s inherently selfish and he can’t…..he doesn’t want anyone else…he wants her…..only her…..

Maybe he says like “if loving you….this much….then…the whole entire universe….makes me selfish….then…I am selfish….but I want you….only you, Christine…and if the world is ending….if we all die….then….I want die…knowing that…I told you all this….that nothing was left unsaid….”

Christine just stares at him, clear emotion on her face….he’s never told her…any of this….she walks up to him….as she does, she quietly says “come here….” She reaches for his face…giving him a gentle kiss….Stephen is surprised, but quickly gives in to the kiss….after kissing a little…Christine pulls away, looking up at him….as the Incursion gets closer outside….

Christine: “I love you too….” They immediately start kissing again…Stephen holds her close….as the world “ends…”
