Hiatus

I’ve made the same mistake again - using gifs from giphy while they didn’t have their maker’s url - and I don’t want to be the asshole who takes without asking.

I’m purging everything from my queue and putting the blog on hiatus for now - I need to figure out what to do with everything I have posted till now. Maybe I should delete this blog and make a new one with imagines made of only my own gifs. Or maybe I should change the format og my imagines somehow.

I don’t know. I’m tired. I’m a shitstain that doesn’t learn from their mistakes.

Hi! If you haven't already answered this before, I was wondering how you make your gifs? Do you use a special app, website, etc? Thank you so much in advance!! I love you imagines by the way!!

Only been asked this once and answered in private, so here we go:

One of the reasons as to why my gifs are not that great of a quality is because I make them very quickly - I don’t have much time and skills xP Making one gif takes me 2 min at most.

Here are the steps, I’ll try to post screenshots soon to make it easie. I have most of the programs I use in Polish so they probably wouldn’t make much sense now :)

1. You need the movie in a format that can be edited in Movie Maker. Alternatively, you can find a scene you like on youtube and use http://giphy.com/ and skip to part 4.

2. I divide the movie into 10 min parts and save them using the “save movie” feature. This makes the task of making gifs out of the entire movie less daunting and easier to manage.

3. I pick one of the previously saved parts and open them in Movie Maker again. I pick any facial expressions or actions I like and cut them out of the part. When done, I save the part I cut out on my pc - again in movie format. Any scene longer than 7 seconds will most likely end up being too big to be made into a gif, so I keep the scenes short.

4. Next - I use http://giphy.com/ . There’s a “create” button at the top of the page. Here you can also make gifs from youtube scenes, drag and drop files from your pc or browse your computer files and open them that way. It’s very easy to manage, trust me!

5. Giphy pretty much creates the gif for you, suggesting the length (you can ignore it). When it’s done, save it onto your computer.

Haven’t watched it yet but my dashboard spoiled me so much I migh as well have :P

I ship anything that’s not Nat x Bruce or Steve x Sharon xD Those two pairings have me going WUT?!

I guess they wanted to go all Beauty and the Beast with NatxBruce but it seems somehow wrong to me. Remember how scared she was of the Hulk? Does someone really get over that kind of a fear so easily?

Then again, A:AOU had me confused more than once. Why not use the cradle to bring back Pietro? Why does Nat say she’s a monster right after she says she’s can’t have children? Clint has a wife and kids?! I could go on and on and on and oooooooooon like this -.-

Steve x Sharon just creeps me out in the movie universe.

Still, I respect anyone who thinks otherwise. My opinions are just that - opinions and I’m not the kind of a person who likes shoving them down other people’s throats :P

Taking requests :)

I’m taking requests again, seeing as my list is getting shorter with each day. If there’s any character you’d like to see more of, please let me know. I might not post what you want right away, but I never delete requests. Only a few rules:

1. There are some characters I’m not comfortable posting romantic imagines for. I reserve the right to refuse a request in such a case.

2. Please let me know if you’d prefer the imagine to be happy/sad/fluffy/angsty/etc. Sometimes I’m stuck wondering whether you’ll like the theme I pick :(

3.There are some things I don’t post about as they’re very triggering for me. They include: suicide, self-harm, abuse in relationships, rape. There might be exceptions but I very much doubt it.
