I’m pretty passionate about marine biology, I’m also big into the vocal synth fandom. I love magical girl media. I’m also in the mmu fandom, the deltarune fandom the Magnus archives and a few others. My favourite musical is Chicago. Revolutionary girl utena your honour. I also like magical girl media in general!

Compared to the other BR duelists, Kanae’s color is significantly lighter, and she has less buttons on her coat, as well as only having them on her left side; yet another way she’s distinguished from those who draw swords from the student council and those who do not.

While their uniforms are not all recolored copies of one another’s, they are noticeably more similar with plain gold epaulets, whereas Kanae has a splash of red in her shoulder pads, similar to Utena. Notably, she is also the only BR duelist to have a black undershirt be visible beneath her coat, as if she has literally outgrown her role; her dueling outfit is much too small for her now.

My interpretation, based on Kanae Former Duelist theory, is that she is literally wearing her duelist outfit from when she was taking on Utena’s role, hence it being much lighter, similar to Utena’s own look, and not fitting quite right.

I like seeing everybody's takes on black rose saga!! But I personally think that we have NO way of knowing if Tokiko was malicious towards Nemuro or not. Those memories are so heavily manipulated. I think it is interesting to see how Akio and Tokiko had different grooming "tactics" in relation to their gender (if we see Tokiko crying as a manipulation, for example). I think her motivations and feelings are unknown to us, they are a product of a system and they do not matter in the result, as only actions really matter. Maybe it is also in favor of the status quo, of the melted memories, to obfuscate those feelings. I still think every reading matters, if you have the evidence to support it. And I think it is good to talk about how we see art.
