Amos would be proud. Gods- he wished Amos was here right now to destroy the human together. There was a beautiful idea. He exhaled as he thought of the pink-haired human being destroyed by Amos. “-Hmm?” he asked as the other spoke again and blinked. He had not been paying attention for a second.

“I enjoy both,” he admitted freely, not like it was a state secret or anything. “You think too much of me as a run of the mill daemon, Katashi-” Hemlock whispered against the other’s lips. Then letting out a laugh as he was being manhandled and a soft moan. Curling his back like a cat as the other spanked him. “You can do that harder, I believe in you.” he mocked as he looked over his shoulder at the other.

Of course- Hemlock put on the voice chat with Katashi as they sat down. No escaping for you, human. The demon played the game without much effort, obviously they gamed a lot. I thought you two did not have secrets-” Hemlock teased (which also told the other that Belle never spoke to Hemlock about her suspicions about the other man). “She always speaks so highly of you, Katashi this and Katashi that- I am quite surprised to see you in this situation.” He smirked as he sucked up some of the slimes and wished he had booted up a multiplayer instead. There was a lot of sounds outside but they did not come inside just yet. Hemlock knew the back exit too so they should be fine just in case.

“No, not for me. But usually other people are my targets and not the other way around. Though if I have to believe Belle you are like a sweet little lamb. Now, I already knew that was not entirely true but this makes you a whole lot more interesting. So why did they try to turn you into a colander?” They asked as Hemlock ordered some food and added a few extra fries “What do you want? I ordered you a pink monster to go with your hair. Do you want fries?”

Knowing their worth and nodding. “The best for the best canvas I had the honour to tattoo.” their claws lightly sliding against the others’ skin and making a small purring sound in affection before nodding.

“What, you going to tattoo a dick on me?” he asked but started to prepare a second needle and cleaning the station- making sure to give the other a wide range of colours. “Have you done this before?” he asked as they took their shirt off and revealed the familiar torso. Freckled and there were quite a few tattoos but parts of his arms and heart were still free. “Not the face and hands, aside from that you can do whatever my beloved,” he said and then smirked.

The sound of gunshots was something Hemlock did not enjoy- they liked the deeper sounds of explosions, bigger ones that would disturb the earth and that you could feel in your bones. He had heard the shots and went to look though- gun violence meant chaos and that they did like. So that is when they saw the pink man he fucked one time.

Fun. He grabbed the man and pulled him out of the bullet’s way. “Now, now” Hemlock answered as he was shoved backwards with surprising strength for a human twink out on the run. He knew the other was strong though (from their fuckin) so he shouldn’t be too surprised.

One eyebrow raised as the other snapped at them. That was interesting, Hemlock would’ve assumed that the other would be crying or in a panic. Instead pinkie pie was just mad. “Hell is right,” he answered as he looked at the people running away in an appropriate panicked way and then back to his ‘friend’. Of course he had to follow the man as he ran off and sighed. Refusing to run as well he walked faster- and realised that looked dumb so rolled his eyes and sprinted after Katashi- he knew the way here so as he caught up to the other he nudged him into a PC bang- quickly scanning his membership card and picking two computers for them to sit at- in one of the dating set-ups where it was one private desk for two people.

He should bring Amos here some day. Heh.

“Does Belle know? you like to be a human target in your free time” Hemlock knew the answer of course- or well, he could guess. But it was just so much fun to rile the other up and upset him.

“You have no sense of self-preservation,” the demon noted to the other as they navigated to the closest portal to Earth. “You do know that, right? If you had stumbled into anyone else you’d be dead or worse now,” Why was Hemlock trying to teach the other ‘stranger danger’? This was stupid, he scolded himself mentally before glaring at August again.

They scanned the other’s appearance- small and fragile but there was some spice to them for sure. The demon scrunched his nose a bit as he took the other in and then sighed. The weaker ones in society weren’t as much fun to fuck with- Hemlock liked bringing down societies and not, well, individuals. Not like this. “Only a fool would fuck with an arch-demon or their possessions.” The daemon mused out loud as a reaction to what Minsu said.

He knew that they did not want to fuck with the arch-demon. “See, I just see everyone as fools. Everyone who isn’t a daemon anyway-” a joke, but he was serious as well. Not liking to think of angels or demigods but for the most part daemons were superior and, he begrudgingly admitted, arch-demons even moreso.

“I wouldn’t mention it to Minwoo- or do, he might react strongly to it.” The daemon chuckled as they rolled his shoulders to get some tension of the past week out of it. “He isn’t really someone that needs babysitting anymore huh,” they looked at themselves in the mirror. Large eyes staring back at them as he tucked some locks of long blonde hair behind his slightly pointed ear. Freckled skin reflected the warm light in the bathroom perfectly. Every shadow seemingly at their demand as they were exactly where they would make the daemon look more attractive than they already were. “How did Minwoo become an arch-demon anyway?” he asked seemingly like he did not care, but Hemlock did care. A lot.

“Hmm. Thank you I guess.” he answered as the shook his head and then added a vocal ‘No, I am having a fine time’. They sat down next to Minsu. “Do you like the quiet?” they asked “You should visit some of the realms me and my friend destroyed, it doesn’t get more silent than there. The world is dead- slowly rebirthing itself.”

It was a romantic thing to Hemlock (and his bestie Amos) but probably not many others.

“We’re completely snowed in.” He sighed again, pushing away from the window. “Bit of good news, cabinets are shockingly full, as is the refrigerator. Plenty of firewood, plenty of blankets. We won’t need much for at least a while. So guess the question is, what do we do for dinner?

Hemlock sat in the chair in the corner, playing with his Tamagotchi mindlessly. The beep beep wasn’t as loud as it used to be- he should change the batteries soon. Even he could not scare the batteries into staying charged longer. He got the expensive ones too, with the bunnies on it. The daemon looked up at the other as he started to talk. “You shouldn’t ask for things you don’t want-” he pointed out to the siren as he scrunched his nose. He felt the magic of the siren tug on him every now and then when Jungkook spoke- annoying. Just because he was aware of it didn’t mean he was immune. Sadly.

“I sat here for like 10 minutes.” he answered when he was being spoken to, his hair still wet but dressed in a fluffy bathrobe. He had not really a recollection of how he got here- the drugs had been stronger than he had thought. Fae shit always took a toll on him but he loved being mindless so- it was hard being a demon, too much shit to worry about. “Don’t you have some kind of useful power?” he asked the other as he had tried some demon magic earlier and it had failed- this place was magically secured against demon magic to his absolute dismay. This was a horrible outing, though, the worst thing was the battery life of his Tamagotchi. “Have you found any batteries?”

Hemlock finally got up, leaving moist foot prints as he walked over to the fridge and opened it. “There’s avocado’s here!” he said in delight “Let’s make guac! Do we have some tortillas anywhere?”

“What, you are going to make me a catboy?” they joked as they looked at the siren over his shoulder and shook his ass as if there was a tail on it before studying the fridge some more. “Common sense is a superpower in this world though, not many people possess it- I would say it is incredibly rare these days.” They hummed as they got out the ingredients from the fridge and then looked at the other. To their surprise they were able to ripen the avocado to a perfect state- which was odd to them as their more significant powers didn’t work.

“The tiny ones.” he jingled the tamagotchi around to show the other. Looking at the batteries and! Yes- success the small batteries were there. He handed Jungkook the avocado’s. “I don’t know, I never made tortilla’s.” they admitted as they started messing with their little digital friend.

“You see, the trick is to do it quickly so it doesn’t forget the savegame.” they told Jungkook who was probably not interested in the workings of a Tamagotchi at all. “Look, it is getting married.” They showed the other as they stopped any attempt at cooking themselves. Knowing they weren’t good at it and that they got food delivered or picked it up 99% of the days for a good reason. If Hemlock would be good at cooking they would simply be overpowered.

Fucking Arachna- he wasn’t fond of them in general and a friend of them had really bad experience with them as well (war, and shit). This was just another time it sucked to meet them unprompted. They almost had to catch the fae who fell off him as their petals opened again and Hemlock stared at the fae and wondered if they had ever seen someone with survival instincts as bad as this one’s (no).

“Again.” they agreed when August said that Hemlock had saved him- yes, he had. It was getting annoying and he vowed to never pick up lost fairies again (a promise he would go back on whenever the situation called for it- while annoyed now it had also amused him thoroughly today and that was worth a lot as well).

Hemlock coughed at the glitter. “Is it biodegradable?” they asked and then looked at the other again. Then frowned “My… flowers?” they asked and then blinked “Can you move your fingers?” he asked as he shrugged and touched the flowers and shrooms on their head as they looked at the other. People usually didn’t question his physique like that. Weird one, the other.

“Come, I am bringing you back to Earth.” they said as they pushed the other a bit. “No more near-deaths tonight.”

It was such an exciting experience- he had gotten to FLY! and now he was getting back to their mother. Hemlock surely was a handful for their parents and there was no end to his adventures in sight! Today Hemlock was saved by Jinki but surely tomorrow or the day after the child would find himself in trouble again.

Going into the elevator he was giggling and then as the door went open with a ding they ended up on a large floor with offices with glass windows. It was very human-esque in a way but the strange plants and dark artworks revealed who was working here. Besides humanity would need a few hundred years more before they got to this level of civilisation. The computers- or what looked like them -were powered by magic and not electricity like they would in the human world.

Hemlock dashed through the hallway and barely waited for Jinki to catch up as the little one tried to find his mother. Luckily mother had a large office and was just standing outside of it to talk to a few colleagues when her eyes landed on her spawn. With a gasp she opened her arms as Hemlock jumped into them and snuggled close to her. Confused she looked up and her eyes found the stranger in the hallway- the man who was responsible for bringing Hemlock here.

Hemlock’s mother was a beautiful lady- small in stature and with long white-blonde hair and dark eyes. Hemlock’s light eyes were obviously from his dad’s side of the family. She looked cute- in a kind of youthful way where you know you’re being tricked and the person is actually a lot older.

“Who are you?” she asked Jinki immediately as she watched the man, cradling her child against her as he babbled to her about adventures. “FLYING-” she hissed and looked at Jinki accusatory. Someone had taken her baby into the AIR???

Little Locky was so happy to be back with his mama again- not that he had been unhappy with Jinkibinkie but they had missed their mama and home a lot. After all they were just a small child so he had been missing home a little (lottle). “Maaamaaaaaaa” they squeeled as she seemed less enthusiastic about the ‘flying’ part of it all. They had been loving the flying part- “When I grow up I want to fly as well.” Hemlock told their mother proudly.

Mother Lock looked at the man in her building wary but then sighed as he told her that Hemlock had been wandering the streets and she pinched (softly) the child’s cheek. “Now Hemlock, what am I hearing- did you escape again? Nanny Romero must be so concerned.” she scolded the child and then looked up at the man. Still not happy that the man had decided to fly with her child, stranger (and more dangerous) things had happened.  She sighed “Thank you sir- Jin?” she tried as the other had been interrupted. “for returning my spawn. They are quite a handful,” she ruffled Lock’s hair and pressed a kiss on the side of their head and then set them down.

“Go find into my office, I will be right in.” she instructed the child who then waved at Jinki as they skipped into their mother’s office and immediately jumped onto the large chair that could spin to emulate flying again.

“I apologize for all the effort you had to go through, our son is a bit- well, you know how children are.” she pulled out a scroll and wrote down on it with a pen that came out of nowhere. “Here you go, a voucher for my firm if you ever need us in an emergency you can burn the paper.” She handed the other the paper with a small smile. “I will now have to explain to Hemlock that our family of demons doesn’t grow wings… That will be a fun conversation.”

“I don’t know, I never asked them really.” they answered with a shrug as he looked at the other and winked “but I always try to talk to him- he lives up in the space station, because of course he does.” Hemlock rolled his eyes. He wasn’t the most fond of space, not that it was something that scared him or anything. It was just that he liked being on a rock in space and not above one. “Please do not fight the buff alien, and if you do, please let me watch.”

“Pop rocks, that’s it.” Hemlock nodded at this information and they were sure they had known this but it had escaped their memory. Though he was sure that they had been around when the tamagotchi’s first came out too. A grin appeared on their freckled visage as the other whined about the sexual question. It was too easy to make Yeosang upset, and so funny. “I bet if you asked Amos-” but then they were interrupted by the local sexagenarian. Annoyed they looked up at the woman.

Something was off and Hemlock scrunched their nose at the woman. “We sure are, are you like the person who runs this?” they asked- unaware of the other’s intentions. The lady was a tad taller than him and broader built. Not too strange but annoying as they looked up at the woman.

Then suddenly he felt… weird- looking around a curse escaped his lips as he saw the demonic binding signs on the ground, under the tables and cauldrons when suddenly they wered grabbed from the ground and shaken- with a surprising strength -to get Yeosang loose from them.

“Fucking HELL, Let GO of me-” He spat at the woman as he tried to scratch the woman who had him grabbed by the neck. “ah, shit-” they yelped before being thrown into the nearest cauldron with hot caramel.

She knew she wasn’t alone in thinking the voice on the phone was terrible and nothing like hers! It was so robotic and strange no matter how much she changed it and while Katarina had no idea what her voice sounded like, it definitely wasn’t that!

The hug. Oh how she had missed this. The rabbit hopped from her arms and into the grass with a huff as she was embraced and the witch tangled her fingers into the soft fabric of Hemlock, holding him tightly.

’I’m a one of a kind witch, and my son is here, he takes care of the school, keeps everyone protected, especially me. ’ She was always a proud mother of such a good boy. Reaching up she tweaked his nose, then patted his cheek.

‘I know you can’t tell me every thing but please, you get some awful cases don’t you?? Some of these students, are worse than gutter snipes!’

’Hmm maybe i should get another tattoo. The last one you did was very pretty. ’

Pointing to the wall he had been sitting on before, she motioned for him to lift her up so they could sit together.

’I wanted to learn new things, new tricks, and hone a few skills. It’s been… challenging… but mmm nice?’

He knew for sure that her voice was nothing like the robotic one coming from the smartphone. Though he was happy she found a voice- perhaps not her own but one she could use nonetheless. “Have you ever read the story of the Little Mermaid?” he asked as he let go again of her after the hug. “It is a terribly sad story but there is a seawitch in it that steals a voice- you should do that too. Steal someone’s voice. I could help you know, get a victim.”

He did not think that she would accept the offer since she was a good witch- as far as he knew. “I get the worst stories but oh darlin’ most of them think they have it so badly and it is nothing compared to whatever we have ever encountered. They are but children in the eyes of those who actually lived.”

He nodded excitedly “You know I will always tattoo you my dearest, how is your son? Is he still as cute? I wonder if he would like to… see me again.” a naughty smirk- it was no secret to Katarina that the boogey and the demon had hooked up a few times. “And you! You a student here now? Now why would you do that…. I bet you know more than all your fellow students and some of the teachers too… hmm…”

The demon did not mind the light energy that came off of her- it was tickling their skin but not in a way that was annoying. Besides she was hardly just good- like many people she was something of all and she did not hide it or deny it. That he liked; she was a perfect combination of many things and did not shy away from admitting to it.

“You won’t make me sick of you Katarina my beloved, how could I get bored of one of the most interesting people I know?” they said with a pointy grin and nudged her. “We do, I have been meeting old friends around. As if this place pulls us all to it’s core. It is scary in a way- people always joke about the vice-principle and the headmaster but I think they might be a lot more powerful even than people are thinking. What do you think?”
