”He’s going to eat you up!”
                                       Henley vs Pigface
Henley: Her head pounded, eyes trying to adjust to the suffocating darkness as Henley wandered farther and farther away from the party. The lights had been overwhelming, ears ringing with the constant thump of bass. She turned a corner, hand trailing against the cool wall as she glanced behind her. Nothing, she couldn't see a thing. Henley groaned as she straightened up running a hand through sweat soaked hair. Had she managed to get herself lost already?
Pigface: They noted the clumsy footfalls of a drugged party-goer from ahead of them with a smile. They approached from behind, relying on what was now their favorite toy to scare the piss out of the other person. Switching to the last setting they had programmed on the voice modulator, they laughed and hid in the shadows. "Mommy? I'm so lost--Mommy, are you there?" They spoke with the voice of a child, a girl no older than eight.
Henley: Henley snapped her head up the moment the little voice broke through the silence. She hadn't been able to hear the music for a while and was starting to wonder if she was even headed in the right direction. Or if there was a right direction. "H-hello." Her voice sounded wrong to her own ears, slurred and slow. She shook her head, hands shaking from fear or something else she couldn't tell. Henley stumbled to a stop. "Is someone-" she paused, "are you okay?" She turned in a full circle now, trying not to trip over her own feet as she looked around in the near dark. "...lost?"
Pigface: "He's coming! He's coming for you!" They cried out from the shadows, doing their best not to snicker. The tunnels did nicely to echo their voice, making it hard to identity just where it was coming from. "He's going to eat you up!" They warned, turning the voice modulator back to the original horrifying distorted one, and waiting in silence for a few moments. Finally, they emerged from the shadows, all but charging towards the girl with their knife in hand. "eAT yOU Up" They threatened, running forward. They looked out, through the eyes of the large pig mask that concealed their identity.
Henley: The voice broke again and this time Henley jumped back, pressing against the wall as her fingernails dug into the surface. A choking sound caught in her throat, the voice swirling in her head, contorted images taking shape in the dark. "Stop it!" She screamed, hands covering her ears as she dropped to her knees. "Shut up, shut up, shut up!" Henley looked up just as a figure came rushing towards her. She couldn't see much except for a glint of something metal and a horribly disfigured face. Her eyes widened, a shriek tumbling from her lips as she scrambled backwards, palms digging into the ground. Henley pushed herself up and took off down the hallway, catching only the sound of her own footsteps and the ones close behind.
Pigface: "Can't run, can't hide!" They taunted, jogging behind her with a smirk hidden underneath their mask. They never expected to be so entertained by this, then again it's initial purpose had just been a fun prank. Somewhere along the way--they learned the truth, and their motives turned dark. "Oink." They mimicked the animal who's face they wore, steadily running behind Henley. "OINK! OINK!"
Henley: Henley had no idea where she was running, nothing to guide her. Her head was still a mess, eyes tearing up as she tried to escape. Suddenly something caught her foot, a rock, a discarded item, most likely nothing but the flat ground, and she felt herself tumbling to the cold surface. A sharp pain coursed through her arm but she turned again, pushing herself up. Henley took a few shaky steps backwards. "What do you want!" She screamed at the masked person still coming towards her. She looked behind her, throat closing up. The hallway dropped off into an empty pit.
Pigface: They didn't know the layout to the catacombs half as well as they pretended. A few of the lesser known tunnels, sure, they'd figured out. But as far back as both they and Henley had ended up--they had no idea where each turn would take them. It was a little exhilarating, honestly. They stopped in their tracks, as they realized Henley had done the same a few feet ahead. Why had she stopped? It was too dark to see that far ahead of them, so they assumed they'd run into a dead-end. Might as well give her one more, good scare. Holding the knife out, they thrusted it in the air towards her as they took a few small steps forward. "ea T. YoU. uP." They punctuated each word with another stab, and another step forward.
Henley: She panicked, taking short steps back until the heels of her shoes were teetering on the edge of the hole. Henley turned hot tears of rage and fear spilling across her cheeks. "Shut up!" She snapped at them again. "Just shut up!" On the last word Henley moved forward bringing her hands up to hit their shoulders and shove them away from her. However the momentum was too much, still unsteady on her feet as she rocketed backwards. Her arms reached out for nothing, grasping a bit of material from the person in front of her, not enough to keep her on her feet. Henley fell backwards, a scream ripping from her throat. She hit the bottom of the pit with a thud, feeling her ankle twist in a way it wasn't meant to. Henley cried out again a string of curses traveling up from where she lay.
Pigface: Her grip on their cloak tore off a small section of the black fabric as she tumbled backwards into the darkness. They had no idea what was happening, and had even reached out a gloved hand in an attempt to stop her fall. It had been too late, however and they could only watch as she hit the ground with a thud. "Non--FUCK!" They cursed, unsure what to do. The most important part of their scheme by far was due to happen any moment now, and they couldn't risk things going to Hell to stay and help Henley. They peeked down into the hole, looking her over as best they could. She was alive, and no bones seem to be sticking out. They could tell someone to come help her later, they told themselves. They fished out a flashlight from their cloak, and dropped it down the hole with Henley. "You will be fine. Stop your blubbering." They told her.
Henley: Henley sat up groaning and trying to hold back sobs. She could already feel her ankle swelling. Along with the pain in her arm she wasn't exactly in the best of shape. She kicked off her shoe trying to relieve some pressure as she wrapped her hands around her ankle. Suddenly she felt something whack her on the head. "Ow- what the-" Henley picked up the flashlight, wiping the tears from her face with her free hand. This sobered her up quick. "You- you bastard!" She screamed at the top of the pit. "Fuck you!" They chased her into a hole and now they tossed her a flashlight? None of this made sense.
Pigface: They felt bad--Slightly. But she would *live*. Not all those who crossed their path tonight would be able to say the same. They turned away, leaving to prepare for what was to come.
