lowkey, the concept of a secret third thing when ppl talk about relationships pisses me off bc majority of the time, it is literally just a romantic relationship that is just a little unconventional. same goes for when qpr get introduced bc it just feels like ppl want to be woke and headcanon a character as aroace (let's be honest it is never canon) but don't actually respect the identity, so they use a qpr to ship them anyways. don't even get me started on the whole "aroace ppl can still date" thing. hey, how about we try and respect the umbrella term for the identity before where start messing with specifics? honestly, the definition of what it means to be aroace is so muddled by allos who don't give a fuck about us or our representation in media. if you are allo and want to even begin respecting the aroace community, stop putting every single aroace character into a fucking qpr bc you can't comprehend a person not being in a relationship.

Courtland and Driver brothers AU where Six is dispatched to take out someone who has been killing off CIA plants in the mob (or something like that) and where he gets there, he comes face to face with his brother. The last time they saw each other, Court was covered in his father blood and now he's been tasked with killing the last of his family he thought he lost.

What if they didn't realize who the other was (driver still wearing that freaky mask) and don't figure it out until Driver is bleeding out at Court's feet?

As much as I love all the headcanons about the coltland twins, the only one I can't really get behind is Court being their older brother. If ANY Gosling character would have been related to Court, it 100% would be Driver.

Like, Driver obviously did not have a good upbringing and is traumatized. A father that wanted perfect, macho sons and tried to beat him to death over it would explain so much. Being nearly killed and then seeing your older brother kill your father would probably cause anyone to become mute. It would also explain why Driver is so good at beating people up. He takes after his dad.

Imagine being young Driver, being forced to become something aggressive and violent by your father, but not being enough. Imagine seeing your brother, the only person you know who has ever shown you an ounce of kindness, save your life by taking your father's life right in front of you. Imagine being so traumatized from the experience that you can't speak up and defend your brother and you can't do anything but watch as he's taken from you. Imagine how you would give up your name, anything that connected you to that life, and find a profession that let you drive as far away as possible from the worst moment of your life. Imagine finding a woman who was so kind and reminded you of your brother, only for the world to plot against you and force you to be just as violent as your dad always wanted.
