Mom, I don’t think you know what you did. You had my brother when you were 18 years old. 3 years later I came out. The odds were stacked against us. Single parent with 2 boys by the time you were 21 years old. Everyone told us we werent supposed to be here. One of the best memories I have is when we moved into our first apartment. No bed, not furniature. We jsut sat on the floor and hugged each other and that’s when we thought we made it. You wake me up in the summertime making me run up the hill or do push ups. We wasn’t suppsed to be here. You made us believe, put clothes on our back and food on the table. On nights when you couldn’t eat, you made sure we could, you went to bed hungry.You sacrificed for us. You’re the real MVP.
