Pictures by oer-wout. I really think he needs more credit. His work is beautiful, so why wouldn’t you credit him?
Anonymously tell me what you like most about my muse.

Hi!
As silly as he thought it was to just have the animals feed and simply kill them when they were fat enough to get food, he could understand the appeal of teaching your prey to live only for your sustenance. There were many times when he could not catch anything and was forced to scavenge on whatever the gulls had left behind and having a domesticated fish would have come in handy.
Besides there was only one of him to have to feed. There were billions of humans crawling all over the place. It would be a great mess if they all had to fend for themselves. They’re too stubborn to join forces.
“I am indifferent to it. We simply have different ways of surviving.” He placed the can back into the pocket, giving the girl another toothy grin. “Either way I’ve got my tuna.”
It was an easy way to feed many, many hungry mouths. There were too many humans for each of them to hunt; there wouldn’t be enough food for all of them if they wouldn’t find other ways, like breeding animals just for the purpose of eating them once they were fat enough. It would be difficult to imagine; a world where they depended on their survival capability. That was not the kind of world the redhead lived in.
Dominique was slightly relieved to hear that the male wasn’t bothered by it all. It would have been understandable, maybe, if he would judge the way they were surviving. It was rather cruel, thinking about it, after all.
“No, but really, you’re telling me you honestly never stepped foot into a supermarket?” She was still confused about it all. “Can I—ask where you come from?” Surely the male couldn’t be from there; he would have grown up finding all of this entirely normal, then. Or was his family one of those that hated Tvs and were against all modern things?
The teen didn’t want to be rude about it.
