Hey Dear! It's from this set here! Have a lovely day!
It's almost summer- the time of the year when we wish to spend every single second outside. Whether it's around a bonfire in the evening, or swimming in the afternoon, or if you're looking forward to throwing that backyard party/barbecue for your friends and family- we all have something that we like to do outdoors. 🌼

Casa Gilardi
- a cc shell by moonwoodhollow
Who doesn't dream of a gorgeous pink house?
A huge thank you to @misotrait for getting me out of my building slump and suggesting I'd try building a house by Luis Barragán.
More screenshots, info + download link under the cut!
Building Background
The Gilardi House was commissioned by advertising executive Pancho Gilardi to be built on a plot in a densely populated area of Mexico City in 1975, when Luis Barragán (1902-1988), the architect, was already "retired". The first thing Barragán focused on was the Jacaranda tree (pictured in the middle of the courtyard), and he told Gilardi that it shouldn't be felled, since the house would be built around it.
With this commission - the last house he designed - Barragán was completely free to do what he wanted, and the result is a colourful modernist building with a very unique interior pool, which I couldn't really do justice in the Sims, so I compromised and created a semi-outdoor indoor pool. The original building has a much broader colour palette than I used, and I wish I could have found an adequate version of the gorgeous yellow windows.
Barragán is also known for the Torres de Satélite (1957), a group of large sculptures and the Cuadra San Cristóbal (1966-1968).

So what do you get?
Casa Gilardi is a 30x20 residential lot that is best placed in Ciudad Enamorada, but could potentially also work in Tomarang, Oasis Springs or Ondarion. I’ve placed the lot on the “Mansión de la Pasión" lot in the Vista Hermosa neighbourhood, but the Casita del Amor lot in the same neighbourhood would work as well.
The lot consists of 3 floors. There are 2-3 bedrooms, depending on how you'll use the rooms. If you don't need/want the garage on the first floor, you can simply make the kitchen & dining room bigger like this:
Uses items from the following packs: pretty much all expansion packs and a few GP packs. No stuff packs or kits // a tip; take a look at the build in the gallery and click on the pack icons to see what items I used.
Download: gallery ID: aeromantica (but you’ll need the CC from the SFS folder): SFS (150mb)
Is the CC included? Yes, everything’s included.
TOU: Please don’t claim it as your own or put it behind a paywall. If you find any issues (wrong/missing files) please let me know + tag me if you’ll use the build, I’d absolutely love to see it in your games!
If you like what I do and want to show your appreciation, I have a ko-fi!
do we like this? (I am thinking about moving this to a bigger lot to have a bigger garden area, but I also feel not doing it hmmm).
The original building is from 1963 and has a very small back garden area and a courtyard, which I included in the build. I'm also thinking of removing the garages, as they're only decorative and there's space for the cars anyway. Each duplex currently has only one bedroom, so removing the garages would add another one, which I think is better for gameplay. But do let me know what you think!
I am so sorry for the very late release, but May has been full of various things and I haven't been able to work as much as I needed.
But finally the Belgravia bathroom is here ! As promised, I have created a new marble texture to fit the elegance and refined look of this sleek bathroom. You will get several wallpapers with different marble heights so adjust the style depending on what you are building. It comes with matching plaster wallpaper, and wallpaper flooring. Of course, as the bathtub and sink are almost seamless with the floor, every marble swatch matches between plumbing and tiling. The full wall heights interior shutters also match the plaster colors as it is supposed to feel seamless with the walls. I also added a wall mounted shower and its glass divider that has a special steam texture effect on some swatches if you want to add extra realism.
I hope you will like this bathroom 🥰
You can find the items by searching for BELGRAVIA or Pierisim in game.
Some items share the same textures so make sure to have the packages finishing by "texture" in your mod folder :)
All base game compatible except the shower that requires UNIVERSITY
