East London Brewing Company’s Best Bitter. A fine drink, but doesn’t feel like a best, with those New Zealand hops, more a dulled, New England IPA. It’s a great drink though!

Strong and slightly different! Fullers 1845 is full bodied and strong. Certainly hit the mark on the night I drink it.
A classic beer! Malty, toffee flavours.
Train beers! Vegan, tasty, 6.5% - perfect for a crappy day!
Big punches from Tiny Rebel. Full flavoured, yet quaffable IPA.
Vocation Brewery is another newer, Northern beer producer of excellent quality. Another monster of a beer from Hebden Bridge.
Monstrous Northern Monk IPA. Grand stuff this!
Juicy IPA from Northern Monk. Great social causes, and great beer.
Slightly weird, but very palatable “milkshake” IPA. Never been sure about milk in beer, I find it a little odd. This is warming from it’s alcohol content, with a pleasant fruity taste - a little like Haribo!
M&S “collaboration” with Four Pure. I like their collabs, feels like you’re getting a proper beer.
This is strong and hoppy, and a decent brew.
Another By The Horns beauty. Light, easy drinking.
Proper ale. Touch of caramel and some nice hops.
Very chocolate tasting, with the chili coming later on - quite later on, as a warming!
Nice. But a little odd!!
Chunky monkey this one!
Surprisingly smooth and palatable considering its alcohol content. A far cry from the Special Brew I had as a kid.
By The Horns collaboration with Jiddlers Tipple. A nicely flavoured IPA.
Well, I am in Tokyo, so “holiday beers” are allowed.
It’s cold and wet, and hits a mark. Not sure I would buy it if there were choices!
Westerham Breweries altbier. Tasty best bitter flavours. Good stuff.
