He was in his office when the owl came swooping in, his brother’s owl. It was cause for immediate concern, his brother never did that, tried to contact him, unless he needed something urgently. He had told himself time and time again that he didn’t care about getting in good with his family again but time and time again he found himself eager to please them, his brother at least. As it stood, Elsa was the only family he had left in his life, the only one he had deemed worthy of his confidence and affection. Pad didn’t like him, he knew that, but Pad respected him for who he was and what he could accomplish. Having the respect of an older sibling meant more to him than he would care to admit.
The owl landed on his desk in front of him and Heath unfurled the rolled parchment attached to the creature’s leg. He narrowed his eyes as he read it...

Things have been unsettled at home, with Zach still in school there has been no one to attend to the estate and other families are viewing this as a sign of weakness. Our influence in our own country is waning, this must be rectified. Go home.
-Padraic
Heath rolled his eyes, his brother had never been one to string together an eloquent set of words but at least they were always clear. Truthfully, the last thing he wanted to do was leave. Elsa was in Britain, his job was here as well. He had to leave though, he had sacrificed and destroyed far too much for the right to remain an Oavatos to allow for the family name to mean anything less than what it did.
He pulled out some paper and began writing a letter, he would need to appoint a deputy to correspond with from Greece, someone who he could trust...
