Is tumblr supporting people's abuse? Can nothing be done to stop it?!

So I reported HXNRYV — then she used some more stuff from my main blog despite it.

Her blog and canon is basically a filtered version of my site (http://roseoflancaster.tumblr.com) it seems. Besides her rp threads and some random graphic here and there, her blog is just stuff from my blog. Yet I don’t count as human being to this person.

Unbelievable that someone can abuse someone else like this and nothing could be done?!??!!

Tumblr is a place promoting abuse and bully then.

That b**** knows, and so she probably just laughs at how she hurts me. That’s why she didn’t give a s*** when I kept asking privately, when I said I’ll go public with her name if she doesn’t stop… I message her daily to stop, and she still doesn’t give a s***. She knew none will care and she’ll be allowed to continue live off me after how she treated me. She continues following my main blog - she no longer follows this one tho she previously tried to rp with me - and if I posted new stuff she’d steal that as well. I had new stuff that was relevant to her (it’s my favorite historic character after from long before this bully’s site was created I blogged about Henry V) and I didn’t post because of THIS. She could just go to my site and tag, and take it, even after she became “ignored” on the site. What’s the point then?!

I should delete my main blog but I swear even after that she’d just reblog my stuff. She even reblogged my own opinions!!! I am 100% sure when I asked her to stop she just went on my site instead and saved all my posts even remotely relevant to her muse so now even if I delete a year of work, she can continue to abuse me. She’s already blocked from my site and continues to reblog it.

The worst person I encountered on tumblr. Ever. The worst most heartless bully. Don’t think that bullying needs words. When you hurt someone by abusing them and then you don’t even take them worthy for a response when they keep asking you to stop - that’s worse. She’s the worst.

Congrats to her rp partners - they rp with THIS so they promote the behaviour. While it kills everything that was good in tumblr for me.

So if someone does NOT support the behaviour and the treatment of others on tumblr, please reblog this post and spread it. Cos I’m on the edge where I either see a change or I leave tumblr. Because someone is using and abusing me and I tried everything but I can’t make her stop on my own and it’s hurting me. I thought tumblr is where I can escape hurt - and now it’s just worse.

How To Let Someone Down Gently

When someone asks you out and you’re just not interested, it’s hard to say no in a way that doesn’t leave him or her feeling rejected and you feeling guilty. Here are the Dos and Don’ts for letting someone down gently:

  Do

·        Keep it simple. Say no, offer one simple reason and leave it at that. Don’t go on and on about why you just don’t want to be in a relationship right now, or make excuses about how busy you are. You’re saying no, they get it, just leave it at that.

·        Compliment them. Say something like “You’re such a great friend” or “that’s such a cool date idea, but…”. Offering up a compliment before you say no can help to soften the blow.

·        Thank them. It took them a lot of courage to ask you, so make sure that doesn’t go unappreciated. Say something like “Thanks a lot for asking me”. Show them that you’re flattered and impressed by their courage even if you don’t want to go out with them.

·        Be honest. Don’t make up a story about already having a boyfriend or girlfriend or having other plans if you don’t. They might find out the truth and will feel even worse than if you were just honest in the first place.

PSA: Your Tumblr

So, most of you know that your facebook can be viewed/monitored by employers. But I know a girl who got fired a few weeks ago because her boss used her email from her application TO FIND HER TUMBLR - where she had said some not nice things about her boss, job and coworkers.

And after some discussion, a worker who over heard the conversation for a Staffing Company confessed that they use your email to find you on several social networking sites (Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook being the first ones they check) and that they recommend it to employers as well.

You can prevent this on Tumblr by deselecting the “let people look me up by this address” box. It also helps to never tag your name, or have your full name on your blog if it’s also searchable by search engines. 

It was just brought to my attention to post this because if your out on your blog, but not IRL, your employer could potentially out you to your coworkers, friends or family. Plus I also think it’s a huge violation of privacy, since some of these blogs are outlets from your everyday life. So protect yourself fellow bloggers :)
