I just don’t know how to express my /EMOTIONS/ with this project! Man I’m REALLY glad i could participate in this zine ; _; And to be able to create such a cute super hero that screams “portugal” all over him—-

Her name is Celeste, which can be both a name and a Portuguese word indicating something that belongs to the sky.

Aaaaand here’s the hero I came up with for the Heróica Zine (did you know you can download it for free over at http://ricardobessa.com/HEROICA-Zine? Go get it!). He’s inspired on the Iberian emerald lizard, which I tried to show mostly with the suit’s color scheme.

Being a part of this zine feels awesome. So many cool people. Seriously, go check it out. The art is great and there are so many cool ideas for heroes!‪ Read it, dig it, share it :)

As a curiosity, Cais das Colunas in Lisbon does exist and it’s a super lovely place that I’m particularly fond of :)
