Well wasn’t this guy a nice guy? Well, yeah he needed a drink or two, but he seriously didn’t need to do that for him. The notion was quite appreciated. He had no problems with it. So with a scratch on the back of his head, he gave a small nod. There was no point on arguing with him on this.

“ Fine, I can work with that. But I owe you for this you got that? ”

Of course, the one thing about giving this man free stuff or doing him favors always had something in return. This young man had the knack of paying them back in any way he can, so as long as it wasn’t bad. No point in arguing with him on this. Once he’s decided that he owes something, he doesn’t turn back on that thought.

The smile on the man’s face grew as the small nod was given. Thank goodness, they didn’t needed to keep up an unnecessary argument. As the register finished calculating how much the amount of food was owed he reached into his back pocket for his own wallet to pay for the water bottle.

“Hm?” He owes him for this? N was about to tell the stranger that it was fine, it was okay, he didn’t owe him anything. He just wanted to do a good deed to someone friendly. But the look in his eyes told him that he was serious, and saying no to him won’t change his mind.

“Alright sir! You should at least know my name before looking for a way to pay me back. My name is N!” He introduced with a grin, happy that he remembered they haven’t introduced each other yet. The register made a noise and it said that the food in total costs 700 Pokeyen.

 “He is…” Yellow sighed, lowering her head in defeat with a wry smile. “I don’t want to force anything on him. I’m… My other pokemon… We… Well, we get along perfectly. I know they all trust me, but no matter what I try, he just won’t… pay attention to me !” She knew she needed to have more patience with this, but her shuppet knew exactly which buttons to press !

Success, he managed to gain permission from the Shuppet and is now petting him. “So, you’ve been a little troublemaker haven’t you?” He tsked in a playful matter at the Shuppet before letting the Shuppet float around them once more. “I can understand why you’re so worried about this, do you play with him often? Give him the amount of attention needed?” He questioned the trainer. Sometimes disobedience is their way of asking for more playtime or attention, especially Ghost-types, who dreaded being alone.

Whizzing around joyfully, it was obvious Dahlia was beyond elated at this exchange. N seemed friendly and courteous, something she could get used to! 

She nods her head, confirming his quick thought. In a second, the pink creature retreated to the patch of trees she had pointed out, only to come back just as quick with a few things floating beside her. 

Mostly berries and other natural things, perhaps to show how fruitful the forest was. But one thing in particular was an actual caterpie, certainly surprised at suddenly being brought here.

His head tilted as the pink ‘mon suddenly flew off, deciding to follow her toward the trees but before he could do so she was back! What agility she has, N couldn’t help but be impressed as he looked at the contents the Mew brought back.

N gave a small gasp when he saw the Caterpie, “Oh dear,” he chuckled as he reached up and picked the Caterpie up from the air, “that must have surprised you, hm?” Cradling the bug-type in one arm he pet the small creature’s head then looked back up to see what else Mew brought back.

“So much greenery.” He mumbled as he plucked one berry from the air and held it towards the Caterpie, wondering if it was hungry enough to eat it. “Now I see why you like it so much. Even I would feel comfortable in an area like that.”

“That depends on what you want him to agree to.” N commented as he watched the Shuppet float around them, a grin on his face as he reached over to pet him. “You can’t force a Pokemon to do something it doesn’t want to do. He looks like the stubborn type, isn’t he?”

Seems like everything’s going just fine. He’s bought all of the stuff he needs to make himself a REALLY heavy breakfast. His mother always reminded him to eat lots in the morning since its a way to start the day. That thought aside, he goes for he wallet, seemingly skimming through pokeyens. He really needed to get some of these money stored away in a bank or something. He’s carrying way too much money on him. 

But that aside, he glances back at the store clerk. Well water would surely be nice, he’d be willing to spend a bit more for water but then again. He couldn’t help to notice that he just put a water bottle there without having to scan it.  That was a weird thing to do.. Was that for free?

“ Why?”

“You just seem exhausted that’s all. I can even offer to pay it for you, it’s not that big of a deal. This surely isn’t going to get us in trouble.” Least he hope its not. Was getting fired worth this nice deed? In his head it was, no use for this man to spend more money on a simple water bottle when he can pay for it himself. Especially since he seems he greatly needs it. Besides, it was just a water bottle, he thought as he eyed the bottle that he has yet to scan.

“You can pay for the food and I pay for the drink, that sounds fair no?” He questioned as he gave the stranger a friendly grin. N nudged the bottle towards the other and turned back to the register to finish the batch of food he scanned.

It was a familiar face that she had recognized! of course she is going to walk over to him. Ah, it was this boy that had challenged her and managed to destroy the league with the help of a mythical dragon. Once she had approached him, the esper princess gives him a smile. 

“Hello, N. Have you been faring well? It has been a while since our last encounter.”

Was she angry? He couldn’t quite tell, the princess seemed to be in a good mood. That was her thing apparently wasn’t it. Then again he should think twice about assuming things, huh? With a sigh to relax himself he stood up straight and gave a smile back.
