ive always had a lot of empathy and respect for addicts, but weaning my antidepressants again is only deepening it. i quit cold turkey three times in the past, last year was hell but i was using benzos to make it manageable. this year im doing it properly, and the flu-like symptoms wrecked my body, ive been an emotional mess and unable to leave my bed for a few days straight. nobody is stronger than addiction and substances, and not realising how hard it is to get off highly addictive products is just stupid and delusional. in short: dont be an idiot dickhead and live in the real world
