secondly, the domes, as far as I know are purely decorative. Islamic art is also usually geometric and abstract because its like emulating allah or something, again, not muslim, don’t really know, but they still manage to make these things pretty as fuck without being able to do organic shapes this is so amazing and they have those arches and they’re all domey. You wish your churches looked like this. These architectural styles are so difficult to achieve, especially for the time frame in which a lot of these were built and wow mosques are great.

Honestly Quebec wouldn’t be half as pretty without mosques.
