Ok OK. guys this is how I think Massana met.

Picture it was like the 1600s or 1700s now the Shawnee people were around here:

So here is the picture I'mma paint for you all here. Imagine this Indiana is hunting with some people in his tribe and all. Not knowing that Mass and some other original 13 Colonies. So this was before the revolution or some time during it because one of og 13 complaints(If my memory serves me right) is that the British wouldn't let them go beyond the now known Appalachian mountains due to I pretty sure was a deal the BE made with I think the Cherokee tribe at the time. So imagine that Mass and some of the other og 13 broke that rule and went anyway. Now among their journey they run into Ana and his hunting group on a path in the wilderness. So Ana was in a tree watching the group quietly as he does to make sure they weren't dangerous and there was a hot guy). Suddenly, yes I know this sounds cliche but bear with me now

But gravity takes over and he falls into Mass's arms bringing them both falling on to the ground😼. Now Ana is frightened by all this run away into the woods again and back to his hunting group then tribe but as he was running away and he locked eyes with Mass and they fell in love with each other. So during the years, time has passed, they keep each other's faces in the back Mass thinking Ana was a girl because he has long hair(I just like guys with long hair do not blame me) while Ana have been having a crisis over sexuality because at first he didn't care because the tribe didn't care what you do has long as it morally right and you pulled your weight in the tribe but the was until the French came and did what colonizers did if ya know ya know.

So so so listen to me now bear with me please jiggle jiggle jiggle I'm jiggling keys. Times passed and Ana feels ashamed for even thinking about what he thought about Mass but Mass's face never left his mind not even after all the traumatic shit the French did. Obviously he feels like shit about himself because of how he thought of Mass romantically and thought it was a sin(It's not) and has disguised god(he hasn't) but he didn't know that until well in the 2000s because I love trauma and making people sad over characters back stories(if you would like to know Indiana backstory from me I'll gladly do so in a different post).

So it's around I would like to say the 1700s the Paris treaty is happening and this is Massana's second meeting. This time Ana's hair was cut short and he was wearing whatever servant men wore back during the kingdom of France. This is when Mass realized that he had fallen for a guy and fell even harder now(I don't picture Mass as a very religious man until during the Salem witch trials). So Mass didn't care that Ana was a guy because damn he was a good looking guy and how could he resist the devil on his shoulder

1: Indiana’s love language (giving love) is Physical Touch and Acts of Service, Mass’ love language (giving love) is Quality Time and Gift Giving. (For both of them it’s in that order).

2: Indiana would have absolutely told the Midwest (I feel like they’re generally pretty open with each other) and they absolutely threatened Mass by mentioning that bodies don’t float in Lake Superior (istg if I got the lake wrong)

3: Mass wouldn’t have told the NE. They found out when someone saw Indiana cuddling with Mass without Mass complaining (like most of the NE he doesn’t usually like physical touch (unless it’s Indiana >:3))
