I’m in a couple fandoms, this was just a blog where I post ramblings about my Countryhumans AUs but now it is also a Wttt blog.
(pointers below are mainly for my Countryhumans stuff (which is old and I have not added to it in FOREVER))
So….
1: Please don’t lecture me about history, I like history, and though one of my AUs is slightly historical it does not follow it exactly.
2: I do have ships in my AUs, and will focus pretty heavily on these, if you don’t like that literally just leave.
3: please, please, PLEASE, don’t talk to me about politics, I am AWARE, I just want this to be a place where I can yap about the blorbos spinning around in my mind.
I have 2 AUs so far, one is an actually vaguely flushed out au and the other one is literally just because I can’t draw people so I drew them as dragons instead.
My other AU is kind of historical, and mainly centered around America, because that is what I know the most about.
So here are some notes on that AU:
1. Young America (13 Colonies, or just Colonies) wasn’t born with the establishment of the Jamestown colony, he was actually born from the Roanoke colony. (He represents more the idea of British colonies in the new world, rather than the colonies themselves.) He got very sickly after the Roanoke colony failed and everyone thought he was going to die, but surprisingly he survived, and he got healthier after the Jamestown colony was settled.
2. America has wings, but he didn’t learn to fly until the Revolutionary War, because of him being sickly as a young child, which caused the British Empire to be a bit overprotective, clipping his wings. He didn’t really mind though because he didn’t know what he was missing, and BE wasn’t too controlling (at that point)
3. The 7 years war/the French-Indian war REALLY spooked BE, he started restricting America’s freedom more and more (taxes). At first America wanted to talk with him, see if they could work something out, but one of their talks got really heated and America got hurt (Boston massacre). America stormed off and traveled to the colonies in North America and started prepping for the Revolution.
4. (I could talk about this for FOREVER so I’m gonna keep it short) Prussia helped train America during the revolution (I actually have historical tidbits to back this up lmao) and he was the one who taught America to fly (they both had wings.) France also helped during the revolution, along with the Russian Empire.
Just to put this out there, the reason there are so many male countries in my AU is because most of them are actually pretty old, and my countries back then tended to kill daughters if they had them, so really only the younger or really lucky countries are female.
That’s it for now, or I’m going to go on a tangent.
