hi all ! i know it’s been, like, a super long time since i posted here, and there’s no reason for that other than i’m just... bad with activity. i don’t want to say i’ve completely abandoned wallace, because he’s so much fun to write and i still love scott pilgrim with all my heart, i’ve just moved onto other interests for now

When Wallace uses him to steady himself, Kyle – on instinct – places his hands on his shoulder out of concern for him falling or something. The twins don’t actually want Wallace to pass out or anything. That would just ruin their night.

That, and they were sure that Pilgrim would be nothing short of overjoyed to hear that his friend had fainted from a hit to the head while he was hanging out with two of the people who had tried to kill him in the past.

“You’re positive you’re okay?” Kyle asks again, showing Wallace his phone – it still had 911 dialed into it.

“And – true, true. Good thinking ahead.” Ken agrees with a nod, stepping a little closer to the other two men. “Now, what’s this you mentioned about alcohol?” Of course, that bit had come as no surprise to the twins. It was probably clear to anyone who even looked at Wallace that he liked to drink. “You know, I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to drink after you’ve just hit your head, Wallace.” Then again, the twins weren’t really doctors. Still, though.

     ❛ I’m fine, ❜ he replies, letting go of Kyle. ❛ The only reason you’d need to call 911 is to turn yourself into the police for stealing my heart. ❜

         Wallace, to his credit, does give a moments thought to Ken’s suggestion. He silently weighs the pros and cons of drinking immediately after hitting his head, and ultimately decides: he’ll drink anyway. He can’t imagine anything outside of a horrible headache happening, and he likes to think he can handle a bad hangover better than anybody.

     ❛ That’s a problem for future Wallace. Present Wallace wants alcohol. ❜

         He turns away from the potentially illegal activities he was about to engage in and grins at the other, not minding if he comes across as a little weird.

Jimmy leaned into the kiss and grabbed some of Wallace’s hair in one hand. Wallace’s lips were soft against his own. 

         A small gasp slips through when Jimmy tugs on his hair, an act that Wallace decides he likes very much. He reluctantly pulls away after a second, resting his forehead against Jimmy’s and letting out a soft laugh.

“True, but we’re feeling a little selfish tonight. Sorry.” He says with joking innocence, even as he stands alongside his brother and offers Wallace a hand to help him up. Maybe next time Wallace did a stupid stunt, they’d give him a little something for his troubles. Maybe.

‘Tis the life of being a couple of amazingly handsome twin brothers – so many want your affection, so few get it.

“Oh, that’s lovely to hear. Maybe you could hone your abilities for next time? We love a guy with agility.” Now Ken’s just being a little ridiculous and he knows it, but he’s too amused by the whole situation at hand to really care. “And, I suppose we could give you our company at the very least, if it’d make you feel that much better.”

         Wallace laughs at that, taking Kyle’s hand and pulling himself off the ground. He’d only half hoped the twins to follow through with his suggestion, and their teasing is funny. They’re funny. Even if nothing comes of his playful advances, Wallace is still glad to have their company.

         He doesn’t let go immediately -- vision going a little blurred as he moves too fast, he uses Kyle to steady himself before cracking another smile. There’s a slight throbbing where he hit his head, but other than that, he doubts there’s anything wrong, and Wallace likes to think he has a particularly high pain threshold.

     ❛ My training begins at dawn. And it would. Plus, if it turns out I’ve severely damaged my brain, it’s good to have someone on standby for if I end up fainting. ❜

Jimmy leaned into their short kiss while it lasted.

“I, um..”

He stopped and looked at a spot on the floor, trying to remember what he was just telling Wallace. He stared for a moment before looking back at Wallace, sheepishly.

“..I forgot.”

         Wallace laughs at that, eyes bright with amusement as he takes in Jimmy’s embarrassed expression. God, he’s cute. He leans in again, so their lips are just barely touching.

         It’s a bad line, but Wallace doesn’t care, pressing their lips together again in another kiss, more passionate this time.
