She started getting on my nerves late last season, but I shook it off because no one else seemed to think so but I cannot anymore. Everytime I saw someone talk about Hosie I was sooo confused. Greenberg. If any rando was filmed during 6b then it should’ve been Greenberg with Coach taking down those hunters to save Jackson. We went six seasons for Stydia, why must we never get an answer as to who the hell Greenberg is?

Any hints as to what will happen next. Does the main pack go off to College while Liam and the pup-pack guard Beacon Hills with papa Derek? Is Nolan accepted? Thiam? 

The underlying curiosity if Malia was to go to France at the start of 6b would she had met Isaac? She should’ve gone, sniffed him out and brought him back.

We didn’t get a lot of things. I’m still mad about some - mostly the lack of explanation for characters’ dropping off the face of the earth or how deaths didn’t get properly mourned and grief wasn’t properly expressed.

So in lore, vampires have this trait that I’ve almost never seen used, and that’s the fact that vampires are OBSESSED with counting things. Like, the Count on Sesame Street was almost certainly created specifically as a vampire because of this piece of lore.

Like, I read this vampire book years and years ago that explained that a surefire way to protect yourself from vampires getting into your house was to spread a ton of seeds on your doorstep–poppy and mustard seeds were particularly recommended for the purpose. Basically, if you suspected someone to be a vampire, all you had to do was drop a sackful of seeds on the ground in front of them.

If they didn’t immediately start counting them, they were not a vampire. However, if they WERE a vampire, they’d be seized with the urge to count all the seeds and they would not budge from that spot until they knew how many seeds there were in total. The point was to keep them there until the sun came up and killed them, because if they hadn’t counted all the seeds by sunrise they wouldn’t be able to leave. Presumably you could just go about the rest of your evening as normal, though no word on whether it’s possible to make them lose count and start over.

Having remembered this piece of lore, I want fewer stories about brooding tortured Edward Cullen-esque vampires. I want to start seeing more stories about math nerd vampires.

Vampire accountants who are an honest company’s best asset and a corrupt company’s bane because they are frighteningly accurate with the accounts and will not hesitate to blow the whistle on a CEO scamming money because fuck you for making the numbers wrong.

Vampire cashiers that don’t need to look at the register screen because they already mentally calculated your total. 10-items-or-less vampires who know goddamn well you have 20 items in that basket and NO, you cannot just slip in with the rest.

Vampire math tutors who are constantly in high demand and have to hold lotteries to see who gets to be tutored by them.

Tbh the best thing about Venom (2018) is that Eddie looks like complete shit the entire time. I kept waiting for the inevitable moment in all superhero movies where the guy rips off his shirt and everyone gets a minute and a half to ogle him until the plot resumes but, no, Eddie spends the entirety of the movie in the one gray hoodie drenched in sweat and looking 3.1 seconds from death. No unnecessary shirtless fight scene or shower scene. Just Tom Hardy looking like garbage and talking to himself for almost 2 hours. Poetic cimena.

Pack, Polite, Keep (8/15/2018)

“There’ll be no free passage,” Derek barks as they scale the side of his ship.  Stiles lands on the weathered boards of the main deck in a disastrous heap.  “You’ll earn your keep.”    

The crew bustles around them, readying to make sail.  This pack of thieves is a far cry from the polite company of Commander McCall’s drawing room, and Stiles feels like he can breathe for the first time since his father’s death. The sails snap in their tethers, white cloth stained yellow in the moonlight as he turns toward Derek, smiling like a fool at his ill-gotten freedom.

Derek does hold the wolf back, barely, but Stiles is thrown enough, that when he kicks out again, Derek grabs his leg and yanks, pulling the younger man into his body. When they slam together, Derek gets his arms around him, Stiles’ own arms pinned to his sides, under Derek’s hold.

He gently lifts Stiles off the ground, squeezing him tight enough to let him know that he’s won this and he could do some serious rib damage if he wanted to. They’re front to front and both men are breathing heavily now. Stiles grits his teeth and they’re face to face, Stiles’ toes just off the floor.

“Give?” Derek whispers to him, so close he can feel Stiles’ breath ghosting over his lips.

“Yeah,” Stiles exhales.
