Can we take a minute to appreciate that the actress who plays Sofia Robbin Sloan Torres acknowledges Sofia’s full name, unlike the writers. 💜
She only does because we told her so because when she first wrote her bio it said only “Sloan Torres”.

anyone has links for Orphan Balck’s 04x2?
I've been haunted for a couple of weeks now by a specific scene we had on X Company's 6th episode, Black Flag. As every episode of the show we had plenty of action and if there's one thing we already knew but we learnt again through Connor Price's Harry is that every action has a consequence.
In the end of the episode, because of a really messed up idea Harry had, civilians, innocent people from a village in France were killed, cold blood, by the Nazis. That scene has messed up with me in so many levels that I can't help but relate it to a chapter my Literary Theory teacher gave us to read last semester. In the chapter the author tells us about an episode that happened to him and a friend when they went to the theatre to watch a movie. This friend of his had fought in the Vietnam war and because of a shot he lost his left hand, having it replaced by a mechanical one. He says that after they left the room the film aired, – an action movie, one of these classical bloody periodic war movies - as they waited for another friend that was supposed to meet them, he couldn't help but notice people's reaction to his friend's hand. Those same people that were cheering in the theatre as bodies were mutilated couldn't handle the sight of his friend's hand and would, instantly, walk away from them. At some point of the text he says that false experiences of violence desensitizes people when they face real pain.
What does it have to do with the massacre in the episode, you must ask. It has EVERYTHING to do with it. At least from where I stand because ever since I watched that for the first time, I feel guilty. I feel guilty because I was so on edge by everything that was happening, I was so amazed by the actors performance in the scene that I failed to realize that what they were doing there was something that happened to real people in real life not many years ago. There was such greater meaning in that scene, that was telling us how serious and painful the situation back then was, but unfortunately I failed to realize it. I was a passive watcher. I might be thinking about this now but even so, I still feel guilty.
I know it may not make sense for some of you but I just needed to talk about it. To get it off my chest and maybe, just maybe, help someone out there think harder about what we see on tv. I mean, tv is a way of entertainment, but we can't let it passivate us, it has to be used also as something to help us think about some things that maybe we never thought through before.

@AN: this is based on a prompt I got months ago. I’m sorry it took so long but here it is!

It had been two weeks since she had finally found the courage inside her to ask Arizona the question that had been suffocating her for so long.
She thought it was a good idea to have time for her self, to be able to love herself more instead of keep trying to fix their marriage, and it indeed was. But there came a point where she felt like something was missing. She realized that when Sofia's birthday came and Arizona wasn't there to wake Sofia up with her like they did every year.
A couple of days after Sofia's birthday was when she went to Arizona's office to talk to her. She remembered her hands sweaty and shaking with anxiety. She felt like a teenage girl who needed to ask her parents something but didn't know how.
She stayed in front of Arizona's door about five minutes before knocking and entering when she heard the blonde telling her to come in from the other side of the door. From the moment she stepped in the room on, she spilled out everything she had been holding and finally asked the blonde if they could start over. She knew that starting over would be almost impossible due to the story they had made together, but she was willing to try and she hoped Arizona would be up for it too.
Arizona didn't give her an answer at the same day. She asked for some time to think. Of course she wanted to go back to Callie but she needed time to process everything that had just happened. But also, she needed to give Callie time to step back in case she had done that by impulse.
She hadn't. So 14 days after that she texted Callie asking her out so they could talk about it. They needed a plan, they couldn't dive in this in the dark like they had done so many times before. And so they talked. And talked. And talked. And after a lot of talking and one or two glasses of wine, they decided to give each other a new chance and start from the beginning. They would wait a while until telling Sofia tho, they couldn't make their daughter hurt if this didn't work out.
But it did.
So seven months after that dinner they had, they moved in together again. At a specific night, Callie texted Arizona telling her she had a surprise for her. Arizona could barely contain her curiosity when Callie arrived home with a box in her hands.
"Well, that sure doesn't look like a pizza box. So I guess pizza with beer in bed is out of the question?" She asks, suspicious.
"Hm... not really." Callie answers with a teasing voice. "Sofia?"
"She's at Meredith's. Play date with Zola and probably a sleep over."
"Good." Callie says, putting the box on the table. "Come on," She gestures for Arizona to come closer. "open it."
Arizona takes slow steps until she is in front of the table facing the box.
"Callie, what is it?" She asks suspicious.
"You'll have to open to find out."
After a few seconds of excitation, Arizona finally works up the courage to open the box.
"I can't believe this!" She says, as happy as she could ever get.
"Well, you always said you wanted one once we had our own house."
"Callie, it's so cute!" She says, taking the little yellow chicken out of the box. "Sofia is going to get crazy when she sees it!"
"I know, right?" Callie answers, excited.
"Thank you so much, I love it." She thanks as she places a kiss on the brunette's lips.
"You're welcome." Callie says, happy to see Arizona's excitement with the little animal. "So, we have a house, a chicken and a kid."
"Yeah, but I remember I promised you ten kids."
"I'm holding you to that."
"So..." Arizona says, as she puts the baby chicken back inside the box. "What about we start practicing it?" She wiggles her eyebrows in a funny way.
"That would be great." Callie laughs. "But first let's get this baby settled and order our pizza because I'm starving."
"I'm on it!" Arizona answers as she runs to get the phone to order their food.
As Callie watches her walk away, she can't help but ask whatever God that's listening that they help them make things work this time, because she can't imagine herself anywhere else but by Arizona's side.

AN2: Well, that’s it. Let me know what you think. Thank you for the prompt, @mysanitymusic
Dirty Bar Bathroom 2.0
A/N: So, I made this post, and now I have the inspiration to turn it into an actual fic. I’m crappy with titles for fics, so that was the best I could come up with. It might be a bit all over the place, I haven’t written anything in so long. Anyway, here goes!
Dirty Bar Bathroom 2.0 - Calzona
Arizona Robbins was well on her way to drunk. She had had a crap day. Literally. A kid came into the ER with multiple injuries after a hit and run, and had to be rushed to the OR. Once she opened him up and saw the damage, a perforated colon became her number one priority. That was just the beginning of her crappy day. Among his array of internal injuries, he had also sustained a crush injury to his left leg, which meant that she had to share the OR with Calliope Torres.
That on its own had been particularly difficult. After the fateful therapy session where Callie had decided they had to take time to be free, Callie had moved out and left Arizona with the house-she was the one that wanted the house, after all. Which meant that Callie was only ever seen at work, or when they were trading off Sofia.
Or in this case, if she was sitting at the opposite end of the bar, drinking and being free, with Meredith Grey.
It wasn’t Callie’s fault that Arizona was a mess without her. Well, it kinda was, stupid Callie made her fall in love with her, what with her magical smile, and her flowing hair, and that voice, and that body.
Stupid Callie. Crap, I’m staring! But I can’t look away. She’s so… McSexy. And she so just caught me staring. Crap!

Don’t worry about it
AN: Hey guys, yes, I’m alive and here it is another short fic for you all. I hope you like it.

"Tough day, wasn't it?" Callie asks as she enters the attending's room and let herself fall on the couch by the corner of the room.
"Yeah," Arizona answers with a small voice as she stays with her back to the brunette woman. "it was."
"Hey, are you alright?" Callie asks with worry. She's known Arizona for years, she can tell when the blonde isn't alright even if from miles away.
"I-I'm fine." She tries to brush off the subject. "I'm just tired, it's been all so rushed since Meredith's attack."
"Arizona..." Callie asks with a warning voice. "I know you, what's wrong?"
At that point, Arizona isn't able to hold in the sob she'd been trying so hard to hold.
"Hey, hey, hey..." Callie gets up from the couch and approaches her, putting her hand on Arizona's shoulder, turning her around so she could finally face her. "Arizona..." She whispered, as she saw the blonde's face red because of her crying.
"I'm sorry, I just... please just ignore me." She says as she wipes her tears away.
"Please, would you just talk to me?" Callie asks, looking into Arizona's ocean blue eyes.
"Meredith's kids came to visit her today." She finally starts talking. "She was so happy that she would finally be able to see her kids after everything. I helped her with her hair and make up so she wouldn't look as... scary for the kids, you know?" She said with a small smile. "I told her there was nothing she should worry about, that the kids would be insanely happy to see their mommy after all this time, I mean, that's what happened when Sofia visited me after the plane crash." She explained. "But I was so wrong, Callie... so, so wrong."
"I heard about what happened..." Callie said with a sad voice.
"You should've seen her face when Zozo wouldn't come near her, the despair in her eyes, the sadness... the pain." She cries. "It was all in her eyes. And I could see it, right in front of me and I couldn't do anything but help Alex get the kids out of the room. I felt so guilty for giving her all that hope for it to end the way it ended, you know?"
"It's not your fault, Arizona." Callie says as she puts her hands on Arizona's right arm. "You were doing what any friend would do. You were trying to make her feel better, to feel confident. You shouldn't blame yourself."
"I feel so selfish because while all that was happening and I was helping Alex with the kids all I could think about was Sofia." She confesses. "I couldn't help but think what I would have done if that day, instead of having her playing in my bed with me, I had her crying, scared of how I looked. Not seeing that behind all that bruises was her mama."
"You're not being selfish. You just thought what any mother would do. We tend to put ourselves in other people's shoes when it comes to our kids." Callie says, trying to make the blonde feel better. "I mean, remember when they had all those problems with Zola's adoption and we were all drooling over Sofia, thinking about how thankful we were for our little bundle of joy?"
"How could I forget that? I remember we woke her up just so we could cuddle her." She laughs.
"Yeah..." Callie laughs along. "You see? It's normal for us to imagine these kind of scenarios, don't feel bad for it. You're just being a mother."
"Thank you, Callie." Arizona says with sincerity.
"You don't have to thank me, I'm just trying to help."
"No, I mean... thank you." She says looking into Callie dark brown eyes. "Thank you for giving me the best present I could ever get."
Callie just smiles and places a kiss to the blonde's cheek. And whispering in her ear she says: "You don't have to thank me for that either. You're the best mama Sofia could have."
They stayed lost in each other's eyes until their pages rang and they had to go their separate ways.

Thank you guys so much for reading. Let me know what you think ;)
Isn't this show just amazing😊
YES
I wonder what my life would be like if i wasn’t so obsessed with two fictional characters being in denial about being in love with each other.
I finally had the courage to watch this week’s Grey’s and I have to say: it was better than I thought, and putting Penny’s relationship with Callie aside - since they’re my NOTP - I have to say that I really like her and I’m excited to see what the writers have planned for her, hopefully they’ll make a good use of this character.
It felt really weird to like her so much because I’m Calzona af, but apperently I’m the kind of shipper that can tell things apart so it didn’t interfere in my opinion about the redheaded, which I’m thankful for because it’ll make things more interesting to me.
Anything new coming out soon? :)
Hopefully. School is back so I’m not having much time.
