A rant about characters and their fans! hooray!

Does anyone else hate when you say you don't like a char then someone says "oh you just don't understand them!!!!!!" then you clear it up by saying "I understand the complexity of the character I just don't like their actions" then the other person says "then you don't understand them" and you're left standing there like 🧍‍♂️

it's like YES I get why you'd defend them but opinions exist and someone can get the complexity of a character while still despising them. I'll take Adam from SK8 the infinity for example. I see why he is the way he is and I understand why his moral compass works like that but I still do not support his actions or like his character.

Jax is also a good example. "You hate him to be different!!!!!!"
