Upgrade your life in silence.
Ecclesiastes 3:8 (KJV) - A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
“being kind takes zero effort” Lies.
Being kind takes enormous effort. Being kind means humbling yourself- it means saying no to your pride- it means forgiving someone instantly- it means putting someone convenience over your own for some time- it means acting as if the universe doesn’t revolve around you. Being kind is hard. Being kind is not butterflies and sickly sweet, half-witted compliments. It’s work. It’s serving others. It’s being silent when you don’t want to. It’s being honest. It’s being gentle. It’s being true even if the other person disagrees. Being kind is one of the hardest things a person can do and we need more of it.

Jesus Chose the Nails…
1 Peter 2:24 ESV He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
Colossians 2:14 ESV By canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.
Galatians 3:13 ESV Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”—
Hebrews 12:2 ESV Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Truths to embrace this new month:
• God is sovereign over my life, health and well-being (Lam 3:37)
• Gods ways are mysterious, but everything He does is good (Ps 136:1)
• I can trust God through all seasons of life (Psalm 23:4)
• I will fear no evil (Psalm 23: 4)
“Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” (Luke 23:34)
These are not the words I would expect to come from someone who had just been unjustly beaten, scourged and crucified. He doesn’t even plead His case from the cross. I would at least be declaring my innocence for the world to hear. But that is not what we heard from Jesus. Instead, He asked His Father to forgive, rather than hold accountable, the sins of His accusers.
The innocent was dying for the wicked. Jesus took not only His accusers’ sins upon Himself, but He also took yours and mine. In this unimaginable act of grace, we see the love of God for His broken and lost children. He would rather die to save them than lose them.
Do you love to criticize others? Are you in the habit of focusing on how others have sinned or fallen short? Instead of comparing ourselves with other people, we need to focus on our own shortcomings before the Lord.
The more you know our extraordinary God, the more spiritually mature you are, the more you become aware of your own sinfulness. Isaiah had a genuine encounter with God and immediately recognized his own failures and sinfulness before a perfect and holy God.

Kindness, patience and gentleness… that’s what wins in relationships.
happiness is:
the smell of rain
seeing flowers grow
being excited about something
ice cream on a hot day
being in bed
listening to good songs
smelling nice
giving and receiving compliments
the kindness of strangers
being with friends
reading a good book
being proud of every small victory
buying new treats for yourself
the smell of pastries in a bakery
blue skies and pretty views

it's not your responsibility...
...to take care of everything and everyone around you, all the time.
it's great if you take care of your loved ones and surely is a reflection of the kindness inside your heart but you are not obligated to do when you aren't feeling up to it.
don't let people take advantage of your kindness in anyway. you can only be helpful, if you feel appreciated and happy. helping others with a feeling of resentment is not a good scenario for either you or them.
make sure your own cup is full, before you pour out feelings and kindness for others. think of yourself too, and not as an after thought ✨
