If you haven't seen the Red Cards yet, please check them out. They are available in 19 languages, including Spanish, French, Vietnamese, Russian, Farsi, etc.
Red Cards have a template that provide information about your constitutional rights when dealing with ICE.
Below is the information from that site word for word:
You have constitutional rights:
• DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR if an immigration agent is knocking on the door.
• DO NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS from an immigration agent if they try to talk to you. You have the right to remain silent.
• DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING without first speaking to a lawyer. You have the right to speak with a lawyer.
• If you are outside of your home, ask the agent if you are free to leave and if they say yes, leave calmly.
• GIVE THIS CARD TO THE AGENT. If you are inside of your home, show the card through the window or slide it under the door. I do not wish to speak with you, answer your questions, or sign or hand you any documents based on my 5th Amendment rights under the United States Constitution. I do not give you permission to enter my home based on my 4th Amendment rights under the United States Constitution unless you have a warrant to enter, signed by a judge or magistrate with my name on it that you slide under the door. I do not give you permission to search any of my belongings based on my 4th Amendment rights. I choose to exercise my constitutional rights. These cards are available to citizens and noncitizens alike.
The text is small on the cards, so it can be hard to read (at least the physical copies I have seen as it's made smaller to have more cards available). There is also the very real possibility that our rights will simply be ignored, especially as there are reports of ICE agents coercing people into giving up their Green Card by signing an I-407 form and lying about the validity of someone's Green Card and claiming it was given by error.
A lot of this info has already been shared but I figure it doesn't hurt to share more information, especially as federal judges are being blatantly ignored and moves are being made to impeach federal judges that don't comply with the current administrations demands.
Even if you're not concerned now, it is always better to be safe than sorry.
luv how male animals gotta fucking dance around and cry and shit for female attention and sex. and then men irl complain about fat women and body hair like get on ur fucking knees and beg me actually
Alpha males: "This is nature. You don't see animals acting like queers don't you?"
90% of nature documentaries: "Until now the female has been very impressed by the males drag performance of Orwell's Homage To Catalonia, soundtracked exclusively by Maria Carey songs. A demanding performance like that knows to impress. But... Oh No... One note in the final tune was one cent flat. It doesn't look good for the male now. She is ordering an orbital laser strike to burn his beautifully groomed plumage from space. It will take all year to regrow, effectively ending this one's mating season early. Better luck next time, little guy. Women are a tough audience."
i think it says worlds about baran and her teaching style that she looks at cassie and decides, "i will not outright admonish her, let's try this first," then talks about herself and motherhood to maybe help cassie get to the conclusion that mothers struggling with suicidal ideation, who will "leave their kids without a mother" if they killed themselves, aren't anymore deserving of judgment than any other suicidal person. she doesn't say, "you are judging and that's wrong," she says, "sometimes i can't tell if motherhood has made me more understanding or more judgmental." and then she lets cassie work it out for herself.
she tries that first. just think that was a cool little moment.
the pitt makes such interesting commentary on overt and covert discrimination and the abuse that arises from it, but when it comes to the sexism and misogyny that has been exhibited since the first season by the white men in this show all of sudden some of you are incapable of seeing it bc you’re so far up their fucking asses
after the drug diversion was revealed to dr. al hashimi she suddenly was able to see a fuller picture of the hierarchal abuse from the white male doctors to their subordinates (of the doctors, majority of which are women of color) that has been allowed to thrive under robby’s supervison
while robby was berating mohan about her panic attack he looked towards langdon bc he’s seeking validation from his fellow white man; langdon does the same thing when dr. al hashimi disagrees with him over the treatment of care, langdon looks toward robby in hopes that he’ll side with him—they feel comfortable doing this even though their personal relationship with each other has been damaged, bc they are both white men
i will stop talking about this when everyone stops babying grown men, and downplaying the severity of their actions especially when it comes to the abuse they committed and their treatment towards "annoying" women
