I just know Finral and his mom would’ve gotten along So Well.

I feel like he’s had to get his demeanor from somewhere and in BC characters typically take after their parents, I mean look at Asta and Noelle with their Mothers - carbon copies. I know it in my heart she was a kind soul and they would’ve loved each other so much; mourning(crying screaming throwing up about) the fact he never got to know her.

He also likely looks a lot like her, he has his father’s color palette but not a lot of his features — his face is a lot softer. He’s about as tall as his father so his mother probably wasn’t much shorter either.

Did she like to play music or sing? Was she also a spatial mage? Did she have a more serious or playful personality? Would she have taught him how to be effective and have fun with his magic?? Would she have encouraged him to pursue a different career than being a knight given his aversion to violence??? Would he have somehow found himself with the Black Bulls anyways?

I’ve dug so deep and I’m so sad she was never mentioned.

the brother one year older than their sibling who was much more talented than them and because of that they were treated as a failure but the failure was really just that they were a kind person and their sibling never experienced actual love only usefulness to their parent’s cause
