I’m trying to get back into writing, but I am afraid I’ve lost my touch.

It’s FANFICTION. It’s not to be meant taken seriously or something like that. You’re not making canon or something. It’s not like your headcanon is a thing. It’s not like your portrayal of your character can be possibly like this or that when off the main action of the game/story/whatever.

Yeah... I keep telling myself like that a lot. It’s not easy for me, at least, to get back into writing fanfiction. I have been looking into character accuracy and bounds to the canon more frequently than before, and I don’t know if it’s for the better or worse.

Well here’s the thing. I got myself watching this new Netflix Amazon Prime series, The Boys. I never heard of They Boys before until this good girl/boy/person mentioned it in Discord:

And so? It peaked my curiosity. What I got? Visceral violence, gritty and down to earth story lines, and a hell of a ton of graphic and thematic content that really drives me into the series. I’ll be also taking the time to read the comics because hey, Season 2 is coming in. Might as well see how the story goes on.

If only you didn’t whine about The Boys, I wouldn’t hear about it, and thank goodness you have vented that out in a rant/vent out text channel.

So the lesson? Be careful you good madame/sir/xir/whatever. You just got me hooked into a comic book series that has got its live action.
