My perception of the passage of time is measured by markers in my memory

In that way, the past didn’t exist before you

And the future of my history is impossible without you

As I thumb through the pages of my past to recite excerpts of you

I recall a time we were wrapped in colors that were only made aware to us on a Journey haunted by ghosts and guided by ones we had lost

Now my future consists of revisiting remnant passages of her in my past
