Submissive is WHO I am not all of me. I am messy and flawed. Im impatient and imperfect. Im at times rash and reckless, I sometimes speak and act before I consider every single consequence.
But I am also smart and loyal. I am loving and compassionate and never act out of malice. I will fight until I am blue in the face, take a breath and fight some more. Quit? Good enough? Acceptable? Not words I understand.
And He loves me, all of me. In the wild capybaras live in large groups so naturally a female capybara will take care of not only her own offspring, but all of the other offspring in the group. So capybaras are super great mothers who will adopt pretty much anything and take care of it.
Lots of places that rescue different animals will give a group of baby animals to a capybara to raise if they have one.

Then several hours after I've been upstairs he'll step away from the Xbox and he'll ask if if I'm awake.
I'll pretend to be asleep because it's less painful than admitting that I was hoping he'd come up sooner. That he'd want to spend time with me.
On the off chance I say yes I'm awake he'll stay upstairs next to me for an hour or so have some light conversation how was my day etc, every now and again grabbing at me, not in a way that I enjoy but in a way that makes me feel useless and empty.
I hate that I feel this way...
