As a new member who was not part of the early entry and all that I just want to say that while the site is pretty, it feels very closed off, very cliquey, and like there is no room for anyone but the staff and their friend group who make it very clear they're favored. Most of the apps are pended and those that aren't sit in finished for days on end. It's a discouraging sight and attitude when you're looking to join.

We’re sorry you feel that way. That’s something we actively work against day on end, as community is the number one thing for all of us. No one is favored on the site. The apps that are pended are pended for their own reasons, usually minor things we’re just looking for clarification on, and all the apps are reviewed as soon as we are able. We have a rule of 2 needed admin checks for all minor characters, and 3 for all major characters. With this, and with us being on opposite schedules as one another quite often, it does take us a day or two to review but we review them as soon as we are able. We also make sure that any character in direct relation to the character gets a chance to read and okay the applications prior, which sometimes takes us a bit but this is the first thing we do so it falls in line with our limit of application wait times. All of the applications currently finished have at least one staff review and the oldest one there is from last night almost exactly twenty-four hours ago. None of them are waiting or have been waiting for days on end. We’re sorry you’re discouraged, but that was never and will never be the case. We won’t favor anyone over another person, because we have rules in place that apply to all applications, and we don’t close ourselves off to any cliques. If it comes across that way, though, we’re glad you made us aware of the issue. We have a few challenges and events coming up soon to try to combat this, and we’ll also look more for it within our little community, so we hope you reconsider, Anon. We promise we aren’t a closed off site, we’re just hopping a little more than our staff team expected so please be patient with us as we give every application the consideration it truly deserves - always.
