Hi. It’s been another 4 years since I’ve been here. It’s like I have some sort of weird attachment to this blog of mine. These days im consumed and addicted to Tik tok & ig. It’s like I can go years without thinking about tumblr, but then a dream of someone in the past got me in a rabbit hole of my own memory lane. Or maybe semi moving back home to Monterey Park back to my parents house got me reminiscing some pasts. Maybe moving away from home really disassociated myself from the past & maybe that is why subconsciously I just hate being back here. There is also a constant anxiety and fear of bumping into people from the past. But I try to convince myself , I’m back for a reason. I’m back to finish grad school, to be closer to my parents, to be closer to friends, to be closer to work … & this is only temporary. Not my complete reality.

I think the longer that I’ve been away from mpk, the more that I forget why I so desperately wanted to leave here to begin with . & I think being back here just reminded me of my whyyyy.

it’s funny how there is just so much going on with my life… work , school, clinicals, my extra curriculum activities… and the thing that stresses me out the most is the fact I have to be back here 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃

it’s been awhile.

Can’t believe the last time I visited my on blog was three years ago.  Tbh, I can’t even believe that I remember my own login and password.  It is funny how we slowly forget somethings that used to be a big part of your life.  I remember tumblr used to be my favorite channel to express my thoughts.  These days, I learned to keep quiet and be neutral.  

It has been awhile. I finally graduated nursing school. I landed my dream job straight out of school in the ED. I traveled with friends like I have always wanted. I bought a house in my dream city during a pandemic.  It took so much to be where I am today.  I am so grateful for all that I am and all that I have today.  But somedays it feels like this adult life ain’t shit. It is no where as glamorous as I have imagined. Work is so stressful. I put my life at risk every single day for people to think that this pandemic is a hoax. This wave of surge is pushing my limits. There are so many moments I feel that I can just walk away from this all and move to Taiwan. A girl can dream.

Hello tumblr. It has been a long while since I have posted anything personal about myself and life.  In the past few years I have moved to Taiwan, came back home, met my special someone, made new friends, and reconnected with old ones.  So much has happened and I feel like I have grown so much.  Looking back at life and my old posts I was so depressed and unhappy with myself.  Life has been treating me so well the past few years that I feel like I take it for granted sometimes. 

It really just took a long trip half way across the world to cut all connections with you.  

I deleted your contact and completely erased your number from my memory.  There was no way you could have reached me since I changed my number. 

Even though it has been almost half a decade since we have last talked, I still think about you from time to time. I wonder what you are up to in life and whether or not you are happy. 

I came across a snap of a text from you with your number. Maybe deep down I wanted to keep one source to contact you one day. & so I took the courage to text you.

It was the first time we have talked in 5 years.

Maybe I was still looking for closure? Maybe I was still looking for answers. 

I was scared that talking to you was going to open a pandora box. 

But I think it has been long enough and I think I am strong enough to not open closed wounds. 

It is good to hear that you finally got your shit together and found a special someone to settle down with.

I think we both grew up. I still think closure is a myth.. but i’ll take it.
