Ryder: Only a couple of weeks until we're living in Chicago together??? Excited!?
Asher: I can't wait! I already bought all of my coats to withstand the cold Chicagoan wind. Are you excited? :)

Ryder: looked at Asher in horror over the thought of wearing a skirt. "No, I'm sorry babe, that is something you'll never see." He said shaking his head, very much exaggerating what he was saying. He let go of his boyfriends hand once they entered the restaurant and approaching the hostess. He looked around at the design of the restaurant as the two of them were led to the table. "Maybe you are Mr. Romantic after all, this place is nice." He said with a smile as he sat down across from Asher. He picked up the menu and began to look thru it. "I think I'll just get a plate of spaghetti with a giant meatball." He said as he set the menu down, not feeling the need to completely go thru it when he was set on just getting regular spaghetti and meatballs. "What about you?"
Asher: "I think I'm going to get the exact same thing. You know how I like my meatballs," a wink accompanied the latter of two sentences just as the waiter walked up and asked the two for what they'd have to drink. "What wines would you recommend?" Asher asked, eyeing Ryder for a moment to keep his cool before the waiter prattled off the fanciest they had. "We'll have the best one," he said with a smile he knew would only up the charm factor he had going on, ready to reach for the fake ID in his wallet, but the waiter didn't even bother to card him as he took their drink order and brought them out a basket of garlic bread. "Do I really look that old?" Asher whispered once he was gone, rubbing his stubbly chin. Over the past few days, he hadn't exactly gone out of his way to shave, leaving his facial hair to grow out slightly. All he did was a light grooming to keep from appearing like the the poster child for a lumberjack magazine, but it appeared it added a few years to his appearance by keeping the stubble around. "Remind me to keep the scruff whenever we go out with Justin and Brian. It'd be nice not to be carded all the time, even though I stand by the fact that we look /way/ older than Justin, who never gets carded."

Ryder: "Never." He said, amused by his boyfriends attempt at singing. As much as it embarrassed Asher to ever sing, Ryder found it quite cute. Which was exactly why he tried to always convince him to sing with him, even if it wasn't the most pleasing thing to most peoples ears. "I've never been there either, so that makes it even more perfect." He said with a large smile. He hit his head on the back of his seat when he saw how bad traffic was, which he should have expected anyways since they lived in New York. He agreed to parking a few blocks away and just walking, feeling like they'd get there quicker that way. He hopped out of the car once they finally parked. He walked alongside Asher on their way to Little Italy. He nearly pulled his hand away from Asher once he noticed old people giving him weird looks. He had to tell himself that it was okay, they weren't going to do anything and that them judging was their problem and he shouldn't have to hide his relationship because of a few closed-minded jerks. Asher complimenting him and kissing his knuckles calmed him down a lot and quickly made him forget why he wanted to pull his hand away in the first place. "You look very handsome yourself, my love." He said as he leaned in to give him a kiss on the cheek, feeling much more comfortable once he put his focus on his boyfriend and not look at anyone walking by. "And sorry, since I chose not to wear a flowy skirt tonight, I will not be spinning for you." He said, shrugging and trying to sound serious. "Maybe another time."
Asher: feigned an exaggerated pout at his response, sighing as he said, "Well, I guess another time." With a hint of mischief in his eyes, he added as an afterthought, "But is you in a skirt an option for another night?" Despite his attempts to keep his facade up, he laughed as soon as he said it, breaking character as he shrugged his shoulders and said, "Oh, God, even imagining you in one is enough to amuse me for days." His gaze dropped to his legs as they neared the restaurant, Asher letting go of his hand to open the door for him, "Not that you don't have the legs for it." Once they were inside, he approached the hostess and told her that he had a reservation for two under Dameron. They were promptly seated and handed menus with all types of pasta in fancy script across the glossy pages. "You know what you're getting?" he asked his boyfriend after a moment as he looked up at him over his own menu.

Ryder: laughed when Asher commented about the lawn gnome scaring him. "I'll have to tell my mom to get rid of that ugly thing then." He said as he buckled his seatbelt. He smiled widely when Asher told him they were going to Italy. Of course, he knew that they weren't going to the real Italy. At least he was sure of it considering that no private plane adventures had been done, so far. "I did, I want my pasta and I want my lady and the tramp moment with my man." He said as he looked over at the other boy with the most loving look in his eyes. "Perfect way to celebrate."
Asher: "Little Italy, here we come," he said in a sing-song voice that he still somehow managed to croon in an octave none too pleasant, cringing at his own self for even attempting to sing. "Let's pretend I didn't say that," Asher sheepishly said as he put both hands back on the wheel, chucking softly. "But I've never been there, and I'm excited to finally get to go with you. You and I and some meatballs - sounds like the perfect night." He was well aware of the double entendre that was suggested with his words but made no effort to correct himself. "And I was thinking maybe we'd do something else afterwards," Asher added, a surprise he had thought up earlier to truly celebrate the night together. Unfortunately, the street was packed with traffic, which meant that in the end, Asher suggested they park elsewhere and walk the few blocks to make it to their restaurant on time. As they walked down the street, he reached for his hand to hold, hoping to ignore a few of the older people's stares as he focused more so on his boyfriend. "You know," he looked over at him, "I didn't get a chance to tell you that you look as handsome as I thought you would all dressed up - actually, even a lot better than I had ever imagined. I'm almost tempted to ask you to spin for me." He laughed as he brought his hand up to kiss Ryder's knuckles.

Ryder: let out a small laugh at the fact Asher just texted him to let him know he was outside. He didn't know why it amused him so much. He grabbed his keys to lock the door behind him as he walked outside. After locking up, he walked over to his boyfriends car and got into the front seat. "Mr. Romantic, waiting in the car for me." He said with a smile before leaning in to give his boyfriend a small kiss. "So where are we going, Mr. Romantic?" He asked, choosing to stick with the teasing nickname for the time being.
Asher: rolled his eyes at the quip in his direction regarding his lack of manners when it came to not meeting him at his door. He figured after so long he could skip the formalities, though it meant enduring the light ridiculing from his significant other. "The lawn gnome scared me too much to get out of the car," he said once he pulled back from the kiss, a hand resting on the wheel while the other pointed outside to the one resting at the very front of the porch. "We're going to Italy," Asher said as he put his foot off the brake in order to start moving, heading towards the direction of their own Little Italy. It wasn't the real deal, but it was close enough for the time being. "You wanted to eat pasta, didn't you?" he smiled over at him, resting a hand over the center console.

Ryder: enjoyed his small celebration he had with Asher after they chose to skip their last class. It was so close to the end of the year, where he wasn't too bothered. His grades weren't going to suffer from one missed class. He could feel the senioritis he was already suffering from growing larger now that he was accepted into the college of his choice. He had to remind himself that he had to keep trying and he couldn't just stop caring, no matter how tempting it sounded. After him and Asher had sex once or twice in the treehouse, Ryder drove him back up to the school so he could tutor and get his car back. Just as originally talked about, he was going to go back to his place to dress up. He dug thru his closet until he found a nice white button up shirt that he wore for glee club like once. He rolled up his sleeves half way since it was too hot to leave them rolled down. He then went to the bathroom to fix his hair a little bit to make it look presentable. While doing this, he tried to think of an excuse as to why he was dressing up when he was with Asher nearly daily. Thankfully, it didn't seem like anyone was going to be coming home. Which was sadly common and why he was never wanting to be there in the first place, it felt lonely. His mom was off keeping herself busy with work and focusing on the divorce and he had no idea what Grace was doing but he just knew he hated where his family was. It reminded him just how much he truly could ruin his family so easily. Not that he spoke about why being home upset him so much. Not even Asher fully knew, he just knew that Ryder didn't want to be home a lot. He just told him that he missed being over at his place and his mom was too busy working, which wasn't even really a lie. He just didn't know about how depressed he really got at home. He shook his head to snap out of his thoughts before picking up his phone to text Asher to hurry and that he was all ready for their celebration date. He migrated from his room to the couch where he watched some TV as he waited for his boyfriend to get him.
Asher: After going home to change into more suitable clothing for a night out, he made a reservation to the nicest Italian place he could treat Ryder to before he got into his car to drive over to his home. Part of him missed having Ryder right nearby him whenever he got home, but he knew this was ultimately the best for him, to be right at home - he wanted him to have everything he needed before they inevitably ended up in Chicago together. Then he wouldn't have to miss him as much, but he knew his boyfriend would miss his family quite a lot - and Asher knew he'd miss his own, but there was no way he wasn't going to have frequent trips back to see them for every holiday that he could. Once he was arrived at his place, he noticed the lack of cars in the driveway - not even the grandparents'. He rose a brow but chose to shrug it off as he texted his boyfriend that he was right outside.

Ryder: Just a little. Or we skip our last class and go back to the treehouse instead ;)
Asher: Bad influence you are.
Text to: Asher ❤️🍆
Ryder: With that attitude it's not. But we could just have a heavy make out session and save the other stuff for tonight with no rush :)
Asher: That sounds a lot better. I'm not above getting off in a car, but it'd be all the more better if we were slightly more comfortable.
Text to: Asher ❤️🍆
Ryder: Definitely. It'll have to be quick though even if my teacher doesn't actually care and is basically half asleep.
Asher: A quickie in your car is so romantic.
Text to: Asher ❤️🍆
Ryder: :(
Ryder: What a coincidence....although, this bathroom break might be better in my car.
Asher: :)
Asher: Meet you in the parking lot in 5 minutes?
Text to: Asher ❤️🍆
Ryder: Your on.
Ryder: I wish that too. It's very tempting to suddenly need to go to the bathroom for a long period of time....
Asher: Starting from here on out, I'm going to ignore that pout of yours.
Asher: Hmm... I might have to go, too.
Text to: Asher ❤️🍆
Ryder: I don't think you can.
Ryder: Oh there definitely will be a lot of me touching you tonight ;)
Asher: 10 bucks says otherwise. You've got a bet.
Asher: Wish I could touch you right now, though.
Text to: Asher ❤️🍆
Ryder: Can you? Can you really? Oh, well then neither of us have anything to pay attention to. But I thought you liked when I touched you.
Asher: Mhmm, I bet I can.
Asher: I do like when you touch me. I expect a lot of it tonight.
Text to: Asher ❤️🍆
Ryder: It's what you'd get for punching me. It's only fair. I would pout until you gave in. 😇 I'm in study hall, so literally nothing to pay attention to. And you can't say anything about paying attention since you're over there texting me.
Asher: I could resist that pout. And hey, I'm in the library. I have a free period right now, so I'm in between doing homework and texting you. You can't touch me, dork. :P
Text to: Asher ❤️🍆
Ryder: I know and I would never want to punch you. Even if you do punch me when I crawl into bed with you without warning. I'd just tickle you to death as payback, how about that? Same :) this school day is going by slower than usual. I swear I feel like I've been in this same class for three days.
Asher: Tickling me? That's just plain evil. I don't think I'd want your cuddles then. Maybe if you paid a little more attention to the class, it'd go by faster. :P
Text to: Asher ❤️🍆
Ryder: Which I guess is a good thing. It'd really kill the mood if you punched me in the face. I might not want to cuddle after that. And I will definitely be sneaking in one day just for some cuddles.
Asher: I'd never want to punch you, even on accident. Though if by some rare occasion I do, you are more than welcome to punch me right back. I can't wait, just like I can't wait for tonight.
Text to: Asher ❤️🍆
Ryder: Damn, and here I was going to just not tell you and surprise you with cuddles. I guess I can wake you up first before climbing into bed. I'm sure that's still a surprise, right?
Asher: That'd definitely still be a surprise. And it'd come without me accidentally punching you, so it'd be the best case scenario for when you sneak into my house just to cuddle.
