Scratching the back of his neck, he glanced away while she messed with her dress, keeping his gaze steady on a distant tree. Once that was done, though, he began to consider her ears.

"Try this…" Reaching into his pack, he tugged out a handkerchief - one large enough to be used if he needed to try and make a tourniquet, but beggars couldn’t be choosers, really - folding it until it was a decent size. Then, he draped the fabric over her hair, carefully securing it in a knot beneath her hair before taking a step back. "Too tight?"

She stared at the handkerchief for a while. Yeah that might just work... It'd be awkward and probably hurt, but if it meant being able to see the village with Kakashi then so be it.

While he tied it around her head and underneath her hair, she winced a bit. Yeah just like she'd thought, it hurt. Her ears had to be at a very awkward angle for this, and she probably looked silly. Her cheeks flushed dark at the thought, even when he stepped back.

"No it's fine... I just hope I don't look too ridiculous.."
