It honestly feels like I’m drowning in my own misery and there is no way out.
May 15th 2019
It still hurts. It still feels like an open wound.
…I don’t know what to do anymore…
- she said whilst crying
“Love didn’t hurt you. Someone who doesn’t know how to love you hurt you. Don’t confuse the two.”
— Unknown
do you ever feel lonely and unwanted even if you are with your friends
I want to turn off my mind.
Here are some reminders I’ve been reminding myself of lately that might help you too:
Self-harming might feel good in the moment, but it hurts you long-term.
If you had a long streak of not self-harming, but then you slip up, your progress is not erased. You can always start again tomorrow and build on your progress.
Self-harming doesn’t make you a bad person.
Remind yourself of all the times you didn’t self-harm when you wanted to and remember that you can resist the urge.
Sometimes not self-harming is hard, and that’s okay. Recovery isn’t easy.
Everyone relapses. Progress isn’t linear.
You are a strong person.
Try not to actively seek triggering/depressing posts/images/media.
Lots of people struggle with self-harm/self-harm urges. You’re not alone.
The holidays are upon us, and sometimes they’re really, really difficult to get through, so please reach out to someone in your life or a hotline or a website if you don’t feel safe or just need someone to talk to about your problems.
(Okay to reblog!)

At least pretend you care.
so many problems with no answers to show
The days without self harm goes by, but the urge to cut gets stronger every single day without it.
