why are physics teachers either the sweetest beans in the world or the most vile assholes to ever exist?

WE TALKED TODAY- she’s actually really proud of me and she’s estimating a good result given what i’ve told her, and compared to how the other students in the country have performed, my score is on the highest end of the spectrum, according to her😭 Like- HOPEFULLY it goes that way

(whether or not we’re getting into uni depends on the performance of ALL the people taking the exams. So everything is comparative. Meaning if the highest scores are near 80% and only a few people have gotten that much, then that increases one’s chances of getting into a selected course.

where i'm from, there's been so many scandals with the entrance exam for med school. the year when i gave it was fine-ish ig, it's been two years since and honestly everything just seems fucked now. funny how the system for med school is fucked everywhere. it's all bullshit. and i blame the education ministry for coming up with whatever system we follow.
