Heya, I'm High. Im new to Tumblr and this is my first post😋💗

A few days ago, I drew an oc inspired by my budgie and not gonna lie it's my favorite drawing I've ever made

Not bc its inspired by my bird, it's bc first time I didn't spend hours to make everything look perfect.

Usually I draw for hours. Obsessing over every detail n tryin to make my art look "perfect" but ts time, I just drew it for fun

And it reminded me why Im drawing.

So here's my question; Is perfection art? Does a painting have to be perfect to be considered art???

I don't think so.

People don't hate ai art bc of its ugly or sum. It's bc art is more than an image. Ai doesn't feel anything. Ai doesn't cry, enjoy, laugh, struggle etc.

For me emotion makes a drawing art.

Also the municipality said something along the lines of “there must be something wrong with the disciplinary system if this happened” NO SHIT SHERLOCK. My moms a teacher in a fairly troublesome school and she says it’s borderline impossible to get a student expelled. Also from what we know, the marash shooter, Isa Aras Mersinli, was a very troubled kid and the teachers tried to expell him multiple times, and the school psychologist told the parents to STOP TAKING HIM TO THE POLYGONS. They were taking a kid with psychological problems TO THE POLYGON TO PRACTICE SHOOTING. And his dad is like the ex-head of police so he had access to tax free guns that's why he had so many guns at home. At the end of the day the government’s shit and impotent and fucking useless and we dont feel safe anywhere. All of my friends are talking about how afraid they are of going to school...

i’ve played games like pubg too. and yet I’m someone who hesitates to even hurt a bug. blaming everything on screens is just an easy way out. yes, people can be influenced by what they see online, but that’s exactly the point. if a child is mentally unstable enough to act on that influence, then the real issue isn’t the game, it’s the lack of proper supervision and treatment.

these kids didn’t just wake up one day and decide to do this because of a game. there were warning signs. ignoring those and pointing fingers at video games is just avoiding the real problem. the group called 'C31K' (which is literally short for Cehennemin 31. katı/31st floor of hell) is full of children/minors that parents failed to teach and they're planning attacks everywhere all over the country, i've even seen ones mentioning the schools my friends go to. apparently they're renting people between the ages of 12-18 for murder. please stay safe.

It’s absurd that schools strictly enforce rules about things like makeup, gum, or phones, yet students can somehow walk in with weapons. what kind of safety is that supposed to be? I was genuinely scared to go to school today, along with many of my friends, and no student should have to feel that way.

and the silence from those in power makes it even more disturbing. It’s hard to ignore the irony, rules are enforced over the smallest things, yet something this serious is met with quiet.

it’s not just about this anymore . it feels like everything is falling apart. the rise in violence, the economic struggle people are facing, the corruption, favoritism, and the lack of real justice… it all adds up. It’s exhausting watching things get worse instead of better, especially when people are just asking for safety, fairness, and the right to live without fear.

two school shootings in two days in two different cities and no word from the president and also a public ban for the news? yeah i’d say corruption.

there are people, one teacher and three secondary school students as of now, who literally died because of it. women are not free in their houses, in streets in anywhere. children are not free in their schools. it is a secondary school and a high school we are talking about. don’t know much about the second incident yet because it happened today but yesterday’s murderer had been reported to the police multiple times. but the police didnt do anything, literally nothing! he had instagram comments saying he was going to murder at least 50 students and also the principal of the school. but nothing was done. two different cities, two different schools and the murderers (also children and students but only monsters in my eyes) can go to these schools with GUNS in their bags. yeah, this fucking country is not going better and honestly turkey was better 100 years ago when Atatürk first established the republic government.

102 years and we are going back instead of forward. what a shame.

protect women and children. stop setting free the murderers. let the streets, homes, schools, etc. be free of murders. stop letting the richer, stronger ones oppress and torment the poor, weaker ones.

I hope I'm wrong.

But I've been thinking about something a lot recently.

I don't have the brain to add pictures (also all of my pictures are in Spanish), but The Promised Neverland keeps looping around my mind. It was a wonderful story with great characters and changing points of view coming together to right what they can of the horrible pasts discovered by the main trio. It had beautiful, expressive art that showed as much range as the children showed emotions. It was original and well put together and haunting in ways that are important.

But the anime was botched. The anime was an unfulfilled promise, if not a broken one. I personally didn't watch it when I heard what they did in season 2, but it should have been a Big Hit. Why did they gut it? I don't know the actual reason, but lately my brain has been thinking:

''what if it has something to do with the files?''.

The Goldy Pond Arc was lost. Goldy Pond. Where we learn that not only are the kids who escape the farms and are caught taken to Goldy Pond, and not only are there other kids who were purposely transferred to Goldy Pond under the radar of everyone but a handful of high ranking 'demons' who ordered and his the transfers in a broken system, but they- the kids- are given food and shelter and even medical supplies so they can live long enough to be hunted by the 'elite'. For entertainment.

The children live in what was originally designed as a hidden shelter. A hidden shelter to hide from the demons that want to eat them and tear them apart. A shelter someone with power twisted into an awful hunting ground hidden from everyone except those that set foot in it. And those that set foot in it either have power and go to there hunt, or have been captured and are there to be hunted.

Goldy Pond was a fan favorite, and it was big, and it was important, and it was cut. I don't have all of the words with me right now, but I am constantly turning this over in my head.

I keep scaring myself, and I don't know what to believe, but I just don't want to be right.
