actually i deserve to have glowing yellow eyes and teeth a little sharper than normal. i earned it
"I would kill for you. I would die for you" would you take a break for me? Would you sit down and rest? For a day, a week, a year? Would you let others take care of your needs for me? Would you let yourself be held for me? By me?
is your comfort character also a sad pretty boy with trauma and questionable morals or are you normal
"What's ur type in men?" "Morally grey men with touch her and I'll kill you vibes"
These cats are my spirit animal âĄ

Your pleasure in existence matters. You deserve little comforts that make the mundane pleasurable. Play your favorite songs loud and jam out to them as you clean your house. Light your favorite candle while you do your homework. Even as you experience the things you MUST do, be sure to make space for the things that you ENJOY doing. You deserve to enjoy being alive!

vegans make peace with honey
no shut up do it
vegans will pretend not to hear when natives tell them their agave products are unsustainable because they have whimsical feelings about, and i cannot stress this enough, the freedom of hive insects
Child-slave quinoa? Agave that decimates native agriculture? Imagine being so desperate to keep eating animal products that you turn a blind eye to the human rights abuses in animal agriculture and pretend human rights abuses only occur in plant-based enterprise even though humans rights abuses are endemic to all food production because it all takes place in a metastasized version of neoclassical capitalism. Vegans reduce suffering and waste by a fantastic degree, don't get it mixed up. Use any metric you want, the arguments for veganism are infallible. That's why the future is inevitably vegan.
Alright Iâll bite. The future is not inevitably vegan, veganism is fundamentally a very white and unsustainable practise- especially the modern conception of it. The âHealth and wellnessâ industry is multi billion. Iâm not going to be unnecessarily rude here, because I fundamentally do agree that the meat industry is fucked, I hate the amount of pollution, land, slaughter and genetic mishaps. I hate forests being mowed down for an unsustainable bloated industry. I hate the genetics of animals being numbed down solely for eating and harvesting.Â
But holding one highly profitably over priced industry over the other is not the answer. Veganism is very profitable, and killing down ethical farmers and small businesses is not the way to go about it.Â
white veganism - as you correctly said, human rights abuses are near endemic to all productions of food. and I personally believe we can do better. Indigenous people have already proven that you can sustainably eat meat and utilise the natural flow of the ecosystem in a way that does not negatively impact it. And Iâd like to say- that in the original post, their issue was rightfully with the fact that vegans often prioritise hive insects over humans and turn around with a âgotcha!! meat industry badâ which is just a bad faith argument.
Weâre all animals, weâre not better than a bear or a buzzard. Weâre not christian humans made in the eyes of god who have to live above being âpredatorsâ. Â
i think the thing that makes me the most emotional in life is the realization that everything i have and everything i see has been touched by other people. someone designed the logo of my favorite tea bags and someone decided which paintings should go in the calendar hanging on my wall. someone built the roof above my head and someone paved the street outside my house. someone made this pair of glasses specific for me, someone picked the pear i ate with my lunch and someone designed my favorite sweater. every book i read, every song i listen to, every film i watch, tens, if not hundreds of people had to be there to make it happen. even if i am alone, i am always surrounded by other human beings - a fact that makes my heart squeeze in on itself everytime i remember it.
I want to do dirty stuff with you like start a vegetable garden
friends that understand your anti-social phases and donât take it personally are important.
a gentle reminder to take your time. do things slowly and thoughtfully. surround yourself with things that comfort you. be around those that spark joy. live peacefully, on your own terms. be kind always, and be a source of warmth for others.
