I named a town in my FNV worldbuilding AU “Angel” after the idea that this sign for a brothel in Death Valley, NV would lose most of its letters. The settlement is in the old brothel. ✨

Interesting fun fact, this brothel was originally called “Fran’s Ranch,” and the eponymous Fran was my dad’s godmother. The airplane crashed in 1979 during an air show and was too expensive to move, so Fran used it for advertising. Now, it’s a ghost-town explorer pilgrimage site, as seen with the graffiti.
