Hey there everyone! Thought I'd do a little introduction post for you all.

This is Mendel Weisenbachfeld, Jewish psychiatrist based in NYC.

I made this blog to market my services (of which I offer sessions at 80$ an hour) and have a little fun!

Just some rules:

My asks are open for whatever! However if they are psychiatry related and I answer, I do ask that you mail 5 dollars to my office.

Same applies for if I make a psychiatry related post and you see it (Sorry folks, gotta keep the business running!)

Let's try and keep things PG 13, mkay? I've got a kid at home for Christ's sake.

I know I'm devilishly handsome, but lets keep the proposals to a minimum. To go along with my kid, I also have a wife whom I love very much.

You feel like the type of guy, who, when on a plane with a fellow passenger who is having a heart attack and someone asks for the doctor, stands up proudly. And when they ask for your specialty and you tell them youre a psychiatrist, they ask you to sit back down and you get actively offended.

If they don’t want a DOCTOR then they shouldn’t ask for one! Specificity is crucial in emergencies, and I just know the one day I don’t stand up is the day there is a sudden mental health crisis they need a psychiatrist for. I will not apologize for doing my civic duty
