So on the bird app I put out an interest check for asking both me (vocasonic) and addviolence questions about Tainted, whether it be from writing/characterizations/clearing things up or plot/little detail stuff :p and people seemed into it! Probably one of the darkest fanfics or fics in general that I’ve read, originally I was just browsing ao3 after like half a decade of not touching it to see if there’s anything good. Safe to say I’ve struck ABSOLUTE GOLD. Putting aside the insanely messed up and dark plot of the fic, the pacing, the character interactions, hell the whole plot itself is incredibly well put together and the quality is not something I expected when I first started reading..

The whole thing has sent me to indescribable emotional rollercoasters between liking and disliking characters (not because they’re terribly written) through the changes and phases they go through. It also made me question Silver’s state in the AU, he gets progressively annoying (IN A GOOD WAY) as you ask yourself “how can someone be so stupid”, but at the same time you can’t excuse the fact that he’s been through hell and in a way its not his fault…? I dont even know how to begin, this fanfic is terrible in the most amazing way possible with how it fiddled and twisted characters so smoothly and disturbingly good

I’ve decided to make a fanart of silver with my oc as a cameo if thats alright, I look forward to more if there would be, that was one of the most emotional 6 days of my life reading something LOL

Its horrible written in such a good way. Kinda like a well written psychological horror! Which im a very huge fan for. Its a well written piece of horror and i love it.

voca: hi there! so sorry for the long wait-- yes! we will! both of us think about tainted a LOT but unfortunately IRL stuff keeps us busy and then the next thing we know it's been a year or something since we've updated. ;A; we hate it as much as you guys do!! tainted will for sure be updated, we're both just not confident when. we pump chapters out essentially as soon as they're ready, and they end up being like 30-50 pages long sometimes. so apologies for the long wait times! we don't ever plan on letting it go to hiatus or unfinished though. i hope this kinda helps! :/
