(1) i will always remember when i first watched this scene because my JAW was ON THE FLOOR. the transition to alastor’s old cabin, clearly underlining that he has the upper hand against rosie this time (i was absolutely cheering for him because she pmo in s2 IM SORRY), the fire embracing him and swallowing the silhouettes of the others, his shadow walking with him … they SPOILED me with this one and i’m p sure i have watched it at least 30 times MWAH <33
also i really just loved some of the reactions in the fandom, saw a couple of people saying “i hope y’all realise that he’s actually a shit guy 🤓☝️” and “he’s evil evil?? 😟” like yeah… yeah guys… i’ve been here for a while, i am fully aware that he’s bad and i can't wait for him to show just how bad <3
(2) where do i even begin… the scene with husk probably awakened something in me PFF it’s just . the way al's environment is influenced by his surge of negative emotions. the underlying threat in his voice before he goes all out and slowly approaches husk (yes the close-up of the chain makes me weak in the knees i’ll admit that). alastor briefly growing in size to appear more dominant before bending down to REALLY punch in the meaning of his words… the way his voice dips lower when he says ‘lovely’ ??? almost put me in the hospital /j — AND THE SWITCH UP IS JUST CRAZY i always can't help but giggle at it. he’s just. oh my god. these are the kinds of scenes that just make me want to bite him /aff
any and every time he looks like that. my absolute favourite thing about alastor appearance-wise are his radio dial-like eyes, but when al takes one step further and shows glimpses of his true demonic form? or when his antlers grow bigger? please know that i am always on the floor every single time because i can absolutely not handle such beauty
the entire opening scene with him in the very first episode gives me the craziest cuteness agression, which makes it one of my favourite moments. okay mr. big scary radio demon, you're over here talking about the radio being the "prOpeR mEdIum tO exPreSs onEseLf" (the way he says it kills me every . time) all while looking so squishable i can hardly believe you're a guy that commited multiple astrocities??
i don't know. soft alastor with his (what i like to call) adopted daughter. i adore the way his voice sounds in this moment and am pretty sure that so far it's the most softspoken he's ever been in the show? just makes me melt. and the fact that he kept the crown and displayed it in his room makes this scene a thousand times better ;w;
i’ll keep this short PFF i absolutely loved hearing al’s hysteric laugh and after almost an entire excruciating season of having to see him tied to a chair 24/7 it was beyond satisfying to see him being back in the game and proving just how clever he is <3
