Her nerves were clearly getting the best of her as a few large ravens perched on the balcony outside Charles’s office, watching the two of them intensely to make sure Nina wasn’t harmed.

“I’m sorry I kinda barged in like this, but I need your help. My name is Nina Lehnsherr and I was told you knew my father, Erik Lehnsherr. I’ve been tracking him for years but I’ve never been able to pin him down. You see, he thinks I’m dead. An incident in Poland six years ago caused the death of my mother and, by extension, myself. However, when the arrow that killed me was removed, a secondary healing mutation in me was activated and I was revived. And since then, because my father was nowhere to be found, I’ve been passed around from foster family to foster family in search of him. And after I heard about what happened in Washington D.C and in Egypt, I managed to track his last known location to…. well… to right here actually.” She said with a nervous laugh, “Look, I just want to find my Papa again and, given what I saw in the lobby, you host kids with special gifts like mine that don’t have families of their own.
