He’s immediately concerned for the child. He looked to be around Greta’s age and his presence felt quite familiar. Being unable to speak, all he could do was crouch down and help the boy up, patting him down before picking up the toy sword, offering it with a smile.

                             A Free and Easy Quest for Love

“Hmm, a beach, now that you say it, it reminds me…” All the while smiling affectionately at Yuuri, his thoughts were going around all the places he knew of that could be interesting, the boy’s words however, helped him remember something… “I came upon a little beach, during my patrols, it seemed quiet and unknown of most… It’s not too far from here, if you want, we could go there.”

If they were able to go there, they could do more than take a swim, like maybe, a picnic, and just relax on the sand. He still should ask Gunter or Gwendal about it, to know if they weren’t trespassing any private grounds.

“That really does sound like a great idea, Conrad.” Yuuri beamed at the male, looking thoughtful for a moment. “If we’re gonna go to a beach I should find some swim trunks so we can go swimming. Oh! Maybe we could eat some watermelon too!" 

Yuuri felt full of ideas at the prospect of going to a beach with Conrad.They could swim, eat, and maybe just sit and watch the sun set. His face turned pink for a moment, imagining how it would feel to rest his head on Conrad's chest and watch the sun dip below the horizon. It was really romantic.Alas, his days in High School had molded him into something of a hopeless romantic like his mother.

“Well, its been a while I didn’t go outside for something else than patrols and missions, I might not be the best person to ask for… dates spots.” He smiled to himself, he never was the best person to ask such things to, if he had to be honest. In his youth, he didn’t really…dated. He gently squeezed the hand in his.

“Hah, yes, mother… Well, at least he don’t have to hide it, right?” He didn’t know if it was a good or a bad thing, but… Speaking of his mother… she should know some interesting places where he could take Yuuri, not too far from the castle, but not too close either for them to enjoy some private time.

“Don’t be silly Conrad, you know this place better tan most. I know you’ll think of somewhere great to go.” Yuuri really wasn’t picky at all. “We could find a field to relax in and watch the clouds go by-- or go for a swim at the beach...” The male trailed off. “Though I don’t really know any beaches...”

The squeeze made the male blush. It was a reminder of how real this bond was. That it wasn’t some sort of dream. That Conrad was well and truly his.

“I don’t mind where we go, you know Shin Makoku better than I do, Conrad.” Though it was a bit odd to imagine Conrad taking someone else on a date around the city, especially given the man he used to be. Reaching out he took his vassal’s hand in a tender manner.

“I don’t mind if we have to dye my hair but-- I doubt we could go in disguise. Thanks to Cheli-san I’m pretty sure everyone in the kingdom knows about us.”
