I reorganized my room today, and while my phone was across the room charging, and there was a fucking battlefield of miscellaneous shit between us - Spotify decided that the song I needed to listen to was HEAR MY HOPE.

I can't listen to it without my eyes watering, but sure, let me just fix up my room, while my heart breaks all over again.

AND THEN, the fucking thing started playing I Will Be Okay, and followed it up with Loser, Baby.

Like fuck you, that does not fix what you just did to me. 😆

I bought myself a new Hazbin Hotel shirt at Hot Topic while I was at the mall today, and the cashier and I ended up talking for probably five full minutes, about Hazbin (and Helluva Boss).

Over 90% of parents of visibly intersex children opt for cosmetic surgery on their infants.

The ones that don't experience medical violence then, likely experience it as a teenager.

I didn't.

I am very rare in that I did not experience medical violence.

Why? Because I learned what intersexuality was as a young age, and I actively fought against what doctors wanted to do to me. All the way down to legal research on what medical care minors can be forced into. I remember walking into that doctor's appointment with the state law written down that proved that if I did not consent they could not do surgery.

That is why intersex activism is important. It saved me and it will save more.

i think because of the whole "writers write for themselves" notion that's becoming increasingly popularized, people forget that we still thrive off interaction and kindness. i write for myself but kudos and comments and bookmarks and really any sort of interaction with my fics genuinely motivates me to keep writing and keep sharing my works.
