relief fills up his chest at the affirmation given that she wasn’t being a burden. ah, well, at least she no longer has to dread on that anymore. shouto’s never one that’s good with words or emotions, she couldn’t even convey her own emotions very well without going haywire but ... she’d hate to make this job harder for her elder schoolmate, so the least she could do was give him that information.

he really didn’t know why a brainiac like todoroki was even bothering with someone at the bottom of the class like him, but he does make sure to write the right answers down.  ❛ hey, don’t you usually study with midoriya or iida anyway ? they’re a lot smarter than i am. it’d probably be easier for you. ❜ he feels badly that he’s slowing her down. surely it would be a better time to study with someone who had similar grades. why had she picked him anyway ?

she’d notice the distress he’s wallowing in right now. she doesn’t comment on it, nor does she nitpick on it, she simply lets him be. it’s a faint recreation whenever fuyumi would teach natsuo whenever he’d have his own problems. she’d always been so patient, and shouto would like to be the same.
