She chuckled and nodded her head. “If you think that the school is good, then it sounds like a good place to go. Dad said that you were going to go to look at a school this Friday. Hopefully they accept me, I know those places can be super tough to get accepted to. If I do get in, it will be nice to have a few friends before I start.” She looked at her mom. “Why are we going to the pet store?” she asked. Her parents never talked about getting a pet before.

     Alex got up and slipped on her slippers, then looked back down at Davina. She started to smile broadly. “Your father and I have agreed that you need a pet. So I was thinking we could go find you a kitten or two.” She smiled to her daughter before going to put on her coat.

A large smile formed on Davina's face and she squealed, hugging her mother tightly. "Oh my gosh thank you thank you! Let me go get my coat on and everything. I'll meet you downstairs." She smiled again and made her way out of her parents room and into her own. She went to throw her coat on and then slipped into her shoes before making her way down the stairs and into the living room. "You ready mom?"
