I finally finished the Witcher series fanart with all the plant/flower symbolism
I ended up adding most of the things y’all requested and honestly…I had so much fun with this series.
I was really tempted to add another Ciri piece BUT hear me out — I kinda want to keep this series going once The Witcher 4 comes out + whatever DLCs we get.
And then I can add all the new characters too…
So for now, here’s the full series + all the pairs together.
Netflix Geralt and Jaskier? 100% gay. It cant be explained otherwise
Game Geralt and Dandelion? 100% platonic but its so much worse.
They have gotten married because they were both drunk, Dandelion just got dumped and Geralt was consoling him. He promised he'd marry Dandelion if he was a girl. So they drunkenly went and got married to prove it. They didnt get it annulled bc if something happened to Geralt, theyd contact Dandelion.
Yennefer: so they won't contact me?
Geralt: I'm pretty sure you have me microchipped anyway
They're the friends who give each other handjobs bc one of them broke his arm. "What did you want me to do Yen, he broke his ARM" This has happened to both of them multiple times.
Dandelion definitely asked Geralt to check his penis bc some girl commented on it. He needed his besties opinion.
Priscilla and Yennefer just accepted their boyfriends were like that. They know its 100% platonic and some weird form of bonding they both require to thrive

Winter was quite possibly the worst time of the year. It was cold. The air was dry and damaged Dandelion's hair. Food was often scarce, even in the cities, and Geralt went to Kaer Morhen. All in all, Dandelion hated winter. Sometimes he went to Oxenfurt to teach, a distraction that was sorely needed. But Dandelion didn't particularly enjoy teaching.
His own years at the Academy had been filled with demijohns of vodka, late nights at the brothels and all-nighters in the library when deadlines were no longer avoidable. He was incredibly gifted, smarter than all his peers, and he'd not needed to study a single second for his exams. The lessons had just been dull. Naturally, and to the surprise of the entire faculty, Dandelion had passed his exams with full marks and then waltzed out of the city to become a travelling bard, much to the Academy's displeasure.
Things hadn't changed much since then. The lessons were still dull, only this time he wasn't allowed to skip them. It wasn't his grades at stake this time around. Which is why he only deigned to return for guest lectures once in a blue moon. In hindsight, the moon should have been blue that winter. Instead, he'd taken a gamble and returned to his childhood home of Lettenhove. The castle was cold, cruel and unforgiving as ever. The only upside was that he no longer had to deal with his whoreson of a father.
Not that his mother was much better. He'd been dragged up to his room the moment he'd stepped through the door, and been forced to change into something more suiting of a Viscount.
He really hated the stuffy, grey, choking clothes of nobility. The colourful silks and doublets of bardic life suited him much better. He got to wear his hair in loose curls rather than all tied back off his face. Every day was greeting their peasants, listening to their woes and not being able to do a damn thing about it. He wouldn't mind that element if he could actually fix anything, but his hands were tied... and not in the fun way.
The solstice celebrations had been far too solemn, and Dandelion had spent the entire time pining for his witcher. He was miserable. Pathetic. A sorry excuse for a troubadour. Spring hadn't come soon enough, and he'd fled through the grounds at the first sign of the thaw.
But Dandelion was still a mess. The months surrounded by his family had taken its toll, and he found a melancholy lingering over him that he just couldn't shake.
By the time his path crossed with Geralt's, Dandelion was just about ready to burst into tears at the drop of his very expensive hat. In fact, that's exactly what he did. He flung his arms around his witcher's shoulder and cried. He cried and cried and cried. Ugly sobbing. Until there were no more tears to give, and Dandelion pulled back, sniffing pitifully as he wiped his eyes.
"Urgh, sorry. I don't know what came over me," he snapped haughtily, letting his curls fall in front of his face.
Geralt's fingers were rough against his cheek as the witcher tugged a lock of hair behind Dandelion's ear. "You don't have to apologise, Dandelion."
Scoffing, Dandelion shook his head, his fingers digging into the cuffs of his shirt. The fabric was worn there and holes were starting to form already, despite the garment being relatively new. "Nonsense. That was hardly a fitting greeting between friends, what must you think of me?"
Geralt smirked, an ugly smile on such a beautiful face. "I think you're full of shit, poet."
"Rude!"
The witcher just shrugged. "I don't deny it. Did- did you want to talk about it?"
Ah... now wasn't that a question and a half. Dandelion paused, considering it. His tongue stuck between his lips and he twirled his hair between his fingers. Eventually, he shook his head. Despite what others might think, he really didn't like telling tales about himself. He much preferred to talk of the adventures of Geralt and his sorceress, or their princess daughter.
In reality, the witcher was very much Dandelion's and not Yennefer's but this way, Dandelion got to stay in the shadows, underestimated as he told his tales in peace. No one pried into the bard's history, not when there was an epic romance between the White Wolf and Yennefer of Vengerberg.
"No, thank you, Geralt. I'll be okay, my darling.”
Geralt hummed, narrowing his honey-golden eyes at Dandelion. "Julek," he sighed a low warning.
"I'm fine," Dandelion insisted. "It was just a long winter. You're here now."
The witcher sighed again. "That I am, Dandelion. That I am."
