IDK why but I’ve been on such an ‘exposure to the elements’ kick lately. Maybe it’s because I have a tendency to go walking and somehow always end up 2 hours away from home when it starts to blizzard.

Anyway, I’ve been thinking a lot about whumpee stuck out in the cold. Some of these are things I’ve mentioned before but I’m doin em again cause why not.

The unstoppable trembling when whumpee is chilled to the bone

Chattering teeth

Fingers so stiff they hardly move or do what they’re told to

Beat red skin that is painful to touch

Shivering not only outwardly but also inside the ribcage (I get this idk maybe I’m just weird)

Curling up in a ball and blowing onto frozen hands

The painful tingling when whumpee starts to get feeling back in their skin

Two whumpee’s huddling together for warmth

Whumpee burrowing deep into a pile of blankets when they get home

Whumpee’s hair and clothes forming ice where the moisture from their breath meets the cold air

A vampire whumpee that never wanted to be turned, so now they do anything in order to avoid eating. Sometimes, the hunger is too much, getting to the point of physical pain- but the last thing they want to do is hurt someone, but they can’t just go out and do it.

Winter/Snowy Whump Ideas

Whumpee’s joints and scars ache terribly during strong storms, but especially when it’s snowing

Whumpee is haunted by their past, several wintery reminders bring their thoughts back, and sometimes too long in the cold leads to their worst attacks

Whumper enjoys the thrill of slick roads, dangerous temperatures, and strong winds. They don’t care one bit that Whumpee feels otherwise.

Pulled muscles from working outdoors in the snow

Falling into a cold water and also being unable to swim

Whumpee slips and falls upon ice, also opening up an old/healing wound

Caretaker goes out into the cold one morning, and doesn’t return

Whumper goes out into the cold one morning and doesn’t return :D

Whumpee has the perfect chance to escape Whumper’s grasp, but they would also have to traverse through dangerous snowy terrain

Whumpee going straight from intense heats, to the freezing temps of the outdoors, and falling into a shock

Buried alive underneath the snow

Whumpee is frantically running away from a Whumper, who is currently hunting them down. The only problem is Whumpee is not used to cold weather at all, and Whumper is geared up with huskies/malamutes, heavy gear, snow shoes, and a snowmobile. Time for a chase.

Content: Vampire caretaker, human whumpee, feeding, self-harm (for the purpose of feeding a vampire), brief talk of weight loss, starvation, PTSD/trauma, [mentioned] fear of hurting a loved one.

Whumpee glanced over the moment they heard Caretaker slowly making their way down the stairs. With a small frown, they squeezed the cut on the underside of their wrist; causing just that bit more blood to seep from their body and into the cup below.

This would be the first time Caretaker had fed in almost a year. After so long of being fed from daily by Whumper, they couldn't stand the thought of doing it again - even if it was for their savior. The vampire had been extremely understanding, though Whumpee hadn't missed the look of disappointment that clouded their face as the realisation began to settle in. By that point, they hadn't fed in several months.

However, after so long without consuming anything, Caretaker had inevitably started to get thinner. It became noticeable each time they stretched too far or took off their shirt, along with the way they struggled to even make it out of bed without panting quietly each time.

Whumpee was sick of it.

"Whumpee," Caretaker greeted as soon as they were in sight of them. The human offered a smile in return, still squeezing as much blood from their cut as they possibly could. The way the vampire held their breath as they got closer did not elude them, but it was okay. They wouldn't have to for long. "Did you cut yourself? Are you okay?"

Once they were finished, Whumpee grabbed the paper towel they'd prepared for themself and pressed it up against their wound; using their other hand to grab the glass.

"Here," they whispered as they held it out towards them. "For you. I'm sorry it took so long to find the courage to do it."

Caretaker's hands were barely able to stay still as they took the glass from them. They eyed Whumpee closely, as if double checking to see if they were okay. The human responded by motioning for them to drink it.

"You're serious?" they asked. "I can have it all?"

Whumpee nodded. "It's all yours."

The moment the blood reached their lips, Caretaker began to desperately down the entire thing. It wasn't much - not in comparison to the amount they'd otherwise drink if they had the choice - but they seemed so grateful for it anyway. Whumpee even thought they saw several tears well in their eyes as they consumed the last bit.

"Tha-ank you," they quietly hiccupped as they licked out the rest of it. As soon as they were done, they politely handed the glass back, and Whumpee could already see a touch of life returning to their face.

Then they tentatively held their arms out for them. "Can I- can I finally give you a hug?" they requested, and Whumpee immediately lit up. It was enough blood that they felt they could trust themself to be close to Whumpee. That was good.

So they stepped within arm's reach of them and let Caretaker bundle them up in a hug for the first time in many months.

knives are so good in whump. they are a tool and a threat. a knife plunged into a whumpees body. a knife slowly slicing into their skin. a knife resting against their jaw as they're told not to move. knives hanging on the whumper's wall. a stolen knife hidden in the whumpees sleeve, waiting for their chance. i really like knives.

Get your robot whumpee infected with malware.

Ransomware that hijacks their body, preventing any interaction with the outside world, while making demands- if you just do as I say, you can have your friend back. Bonus points if the whumpee is still in there, aware, but unable to do anything or stop their friends from giving in to the demands. Because if it's advanced enough to overcome a robot who's sentient enough to feel pain, I don't imagine its creators just want money…

Spyware that tells the creators everything about the whumpee- their favorite things, their loved ones, their weak points. Everything that they can use against them, with the whumpee completely oblivious.

Adware that blocks the whumpee's actions and words and thoughts and replaces them all with mindless advertisement.

Rootkits that can access the whumpee's most personal systems, and even allow their creators to take control of the whumpee.

And if all else fails? Just slowly override their code, the core of their existence. I'm sure they can feel it all. I'm sure even if they're saved, it will affect them forever.
